Ch.3

Damon POV

"Damn it Garrett, give it back!" Garrett's little brother screamed at his older sibling in vain.

"Aww, is the twerp done playing it so loud that I can't hear myself think?" Garrett said to Danni as if he were an infant. Danni just scowled.

"MOM! GARRETT TOOK MY IPOD AGAIN AND WON'T GIVE IT BACK!" Danni is a Mamma's boy and can get whatever he wants. Just by calling their mother Garrett gets smart and just gives it back saying, "Scat you rodent."

I know he loves his little brother he just doesn't want anyone to know it. I know this because he threatens anyone who tries to hurt Danni.

Danni leaves just Garrett and I in his room. Garrett is my best friend and my future Beta. We grew up together since we were pups, we were inseperable and it stayed that way.

We went back to playing the ps3 like we were before Garrett took Danni's iPod. We're playing the new Call of Duty: Ghosts and personally I think the maps are way to big but Garrett loves it.

"So bro, any luck with finding your mate?" Garrett asks out of the blue. My 18th birthday was four months ago and I still haven't found the lucky girl or boy. The gender of my mate does not phase me, as long as they live they are mine. I just got to find 'em.

"No, but I feel different today. Like a part of me is missing and I have to go and look for it. I don't know, man." I try to explain the emptiness I am feeling, yet at the same time I feel like it won't be there long.

"Have you tried talking to your wolf? Cause he might help."

"Yea, I tried, but my wolf as just been pacing and everytime I try to speak to him he either starts whining or growling. He's acting weird today." I explain as easily as I can. Its not like we can actually see our wolves. I can just feel it.

"Maybe you'll find you're lucky girl. Or boy you never know. Personally I am hoping for a boy because girls are just so bitchy and how do you keep bleeding once a month for a whole week while going through weird emotion 'switches' and not go crazy?" My beta is an idiot.

"I love you, bro, but please stop talking about periods. Anyway I don't care if it's a boy or a girl. I'll probably get a girl because of me being an Alpha and needing an heir." That was kind of sad now that I thought about it.

I figured out I was Bisexual when I found myself checking out one of the linebackers for our  since I figured I didn't get to pick my mate. I believed all love was equal. Garrett is Bisexual and wasn't afraid to show it either. Everyone thinks Danni is gonna be gay because he's 15 and everyone can feel his submissive wolf.

I sighed and looked at the clock whick read 4:19. I had to be back to my house by 6, "Hey Garrett when is that paper in Hist- Can you smell that?" I interupted myself when the most delicious scent of cinnamon and pine trees assalted my nose. I had to be near it.

Hurry. Run. MINE. My wolf said that had me obeying because it was bringing me closer to the intoxicating scent. I stood up but then Garrett got in my way and spoke.

"Waoh man, what smell? Where are you-" He didn't get to finish because I shouted, "MOVE! IT'S MINE!" Then my eyes changed to my wolf's Alpha Red eyes meaning my control was slipping and Garrett new it.

Not even a whole minute later my father was coming through his bedroom door comanding that I submit and gain control. That just made my wolf angrier and he shouted out with my mouth, " NO IT'S MINE! I MUST GET TO THEM. I MUST CLAIM THEM!"

My wolf kept shouting until my dad finally used enough of his Alpha's power against him. I was confused and didn't understand why my wolf freaked out like that.

My father answered my question with a simple answer that made a smile a mile wide appear on my face.

"You're mate is near."
