Kätherine had just gotten out if the locker rooms. Small 6th Grader, frail, loner, and secret sports geek. She had just tried out for the football team and the cheer squad just in case she didnt make the team. She was wearing old, worn, grey Chucks with a tight blacksports shirt and white skirt. Rhyan, Cade, Alex and the coaches son Derrick Hill was looking her over from the end-zone. She looked at them one by one. She eventually got to Cade and Derrick and started blushing. She quickly rushed over to the bleachers where her mother was. Her mother was looking at Kätherine like she had no idea who she was. Staring at the little girl who had once played with Barbies, had play pretend tea-parties forcing her father, old dog Maxy and kitten Lucylle and her brother Killian into dresses and tutu's. Her mothers eyes - that matched her own but on opposite sides - had started tearing up whilst looking at her baby girl. Her mothers reddish-black hair bouncing in it's curls as she hugged her child she now knew as Kätherine the Great, Bold and Unique Lamont.
