They had all left the field and headed to Rhyans old, rusted Convertable. It's paint was chipped in most places, dents here and there. But otherwise, it looked perfectly new. It's hood a light brown and it's cold leather seats the same colour. Kätherine didn't bother open the back door, she jumped over the door into the back seat like all the other boys did. Nor did she bother to talk. Cade, and Alex settled down next to her in the back while Rhyan drove.

They exited the school parking lot and stopped at the red light. Cade looked over at Kätherine the same way he always did after a game. His dark brown eyes sparkling in the darkness, full of playfulness, joy and wonder. His short, dark brown hair sweeping over one his eyes. "Hey Key? When we get to wherever we're going, can we...talk?" He said. Kätherine looked over at him, a small smile on her pale, heavily freckled face and replied "Sure. Why not?" They had not hung out in a while unless it's at school or football practice. "Don't you be hitting on her Cade, we all know she doesn't want a bae or boo or whatever." Rhyan had jumped in on the conversation between the two, acting as the older brother or father for Kätherine. Kätherine had said this many times to Rhyan and she said it again, but this time sternly "Stop acting as if your my guardian Rhy. I can take care of myself and you know that. Plus, I have Killian to object to this. Not. You."

They had got to their first destination a few minutes later. Rhyan didn't talk to either Kätherine or Cade the whole rest of the ride knowing what horrible things would happen if he got on their last nerves. They all hopped out of the car landing gracefully on the cracked, faded gray concrete of the Dairy Queen that was stuck in early 50's to late 60's.

The boys have just gotten their Blizzards and Bananna Splits while Kätherine got a Chocolate Milkshake with Whipped Cream and Extra Cherries. "Key, I don't see why you hate ice cream so much. It's cold, delicious, soft..." Alex said. Kätherine blocked him out. She put her milkshake on a booth table and slung her jacket on. "Well, well. If it isn't beauty and the beasts." Kätherine and the team whipped around to see Mason and his possé of cheerleaders and other populars. Rhyan stepped up to Mason, who was a head and a half taller than Alex, Cade and Kätherine combined.

Mason swaggered his way over to Kätherine who backed up until she hit a back wall and Mason put one of both of his hands on boths sides of Kätherine. Luckily, Kätherine was small enough to kick him where it hurts, duck under his arm, grab the team, and sprint their way to the car and quickly got in and drove away.
