It was the night of the dance and everyone was having a great time "have you seen Gavin?" Rainbow dash asked Fluttershy "no he said he went to go hang out with Rick and Gavin but I haven't seen them" right after Fluttershy said that the room filled up with gasps from all the ponies in the room as they looked at the ponies who had entered. "What's going on?" Fluttershy asked rainbow dash "you think I know? lets go find out" rainbow dash and Fluttershy pushed there way through the crowed to find Gavin carrying Rick and they were both covered in blood "Gavin?" Rainbow dash asked in a scared and low voice. Gavin looked over and said in a low voice "Rick needs help" Fluttershy looked at Rick to see that he was bloody and he didn't even look conscious. Twilight ran through the crowed and saw what was going on "Rick?"
"All right Gavin I'm back" Gavin shook his head and looked up at Rick "you all right I only took a piss" Gavin remembered what he was doing he was helping Rick move these tables in for the dance that was in three days "ok don't answer me just help me move this" Rick went to pick up his end of the table but Gavin said something "Rick what time is it?" Rick checked his watch " 2:15 why?" Gavin didn't say anything "Gavin are you alright?" I... Just have a feeling... A bad one" bad feeling about what?" This dance I... Is there something you want to tell me?" Rick looked confused "no I don't need to tell you anything why?" I just have a feeling you do or will..." Well I don't do you need to go home.., are ya feeling alright?" I'm fine I just have a bad feeling about this dance... Let's just get these tables moved"
Rarity and Fluttershy had been decorating one of the rooms when Fluttershy thought about pinkie. How she hasn't seen her for days and she was honestly starting to worry about her "so rarity how's pinkie been?" She's been out of the house every now and then, going out for a walk is what she tells me but I don't know what she's doing specifically but as long as she's getting out of the house I'm fine with it" do you think she's... Better?" Rarity took a moment to answer "ya she's getting there she's not her old hyper self but... She's getting there" what if we all sat down and talked with her?" Rarity thought about it "ya we could have you, me, twilight, rainbow dash, and Apple Jack talk to her but where?" How about twilights place?" That seems like the best let's tell them after we done for today" Fluttershy smiled this plan sounded great and she couldn't wait to get pinkie to her old self "ya that sound great"
"all right Paul that looks good let's turn it on and see how they actually look" twilight told Paul as she flew over to the switch and flipped it on "looks great" Paul said "we put this all up on our own to" twilight said as she looked at the lights "all right well we did our jobs you want to go grab some lunch or something?" Sure" Paul said and then he and twilight flew to the door and spotted Rainbow dash "hey dashey how's the roof coming along?" Rainbow dash looked down and noticed the two "oh hey guys I was just finishing up now" oh well... me and Paul were going to get something to eat you want to come with?" Rainbow dash thought about it for a moment and then she realized how hungry she was "sure... but I need to talk to you twilight" ok about what" I need to talk to you alone" Paul realized what she meant "I'll just go back inside then tell me when you guys are done" Paul went back inside "so what do you need to talk to me about?" While I was working Fluttershy came to me and told me about pinkie so we worked out a plan to sit and talk to her about what's going on and how we can make her happy again" ya that's a good idea when do you guys want to do it?" How about after lunch?" Ok where do you want to do this at my place?" Ya that's the best and we can have you, me, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, and rarity and we can sit there and talk to her tell Paul that Rick can use some help" alright is that it?" Ya now come on I'm hungry" ok I'll go grab Paul"
It was about eight o'clock and Paul flew over to the town hall to see how Rick and Gavin were doing. he had just gotten back from hanging out with twilight and rainbow dash and twilight had asked him to see if they were done "Gavin?... Rick?..." Paul called out "we're here" Rick said from across the room "you guys done?" Yep just finished" Gavin said "alright... where everyone else?" They left awhile ago so... how's about we hang out we haven't done that in a while" Gavin shook his head "alright let's go"
Twilight, rainbow dash, Apple Jack, and Fluttershy sat at there table in twilights castle waiting for rarity and pinkie to get there "ok so when they get here what do we say?" Twilight asked "I think we should just say that we're worried about her and that she need to get out there again... I mean we'll help her with what ever" Apple Jack said "Apple Jacks right no matter what happens let's just try to get her to her old self" twilight spoke again "its not going to be easy" rainbow dash said rainbow dash was cut off when she heard pinkies voice "what are you all doing here?... rarity what is this?" Nobody spoke for over twenty seconds until twilight finally broke the silence "why don't you sit down pinkie... we need to talk"
