"Do you really think Gavin will be alright seeing daring for the first time in how long?" Twilight asked Rick as they flew up to rainbow dashes house the plan was to have Rick talk to Gavin for a bit so he could get used to the feeling of having a friend to talk to for awhile then there'd go downstairs when ready and see how he is maybe even go to the get together fluttershy was having with pinkie, Apple Jack, and rarity "knowing him ya he's probably getting tired of laying in bed all day even after what happened with Jack" they landed on the porch and looked at each other "are you sure he'll be ready" Rick opened up the door and gestured his hoof to the door "I'm sure" twilight walked in and looked around Rick behind her shutting the door "took you guys long enough" they both turned there heads to see daring walking towards them. Rick ran up and hugged her she hugged back as if they just saw each other for the first time in a long time... again. Twilight stood once more surprised she never thought she would see daring do act the way she was not that she wasn't nice and caring but this was a lot "where Gavin and RD?" Upstairs I want to talk to Gavin but rainbow says I shouldn't go up there get him down here Rick please?" I was gunna do that anyway" Rick said making his way up the stairs leaving twilight and daring alone to chat.

Rick walk up the stairs and moved threw the halls until he got to rainbow dashes room where he knew Gavin was at but he walked in on something he didn't expect to see. Rainbow dash making out with Gavin his reaction was a chuckle until he remembered why he was here so he cleared his throats letting them know he was there. Immediately rainbow dash opened her eyes and jumped off of Gavin "Rick I didn't know you where here" she said. Gavin looked over "Rick? Hey what's up buddy?" Rainbow dash can I talk to you?" Rick asked gently "ya of course" rainbow dash said walking out in the hallway. Rick followed her and shut the door behind them "what did you want to talk about?" I think it's time for Gavin to see daring again she misses him and he's been in here schooled of days" I know but are you sure?" Ya and after we can see if he wants to go to fluttershys little get together" it's up to him I guess" Rick put his hoof to the door "we might have to help him up he's been laying down a while" you know what Rick it's not like I didn't keep him entertained" Rick opened up the door and laughed "shut up dude I don't care about that" what did you guys talk about?" Gavin asked Rick sat on the bed and said "alright me and rainbow dash are gunna walk you down the stairs alright? And you and daring can talk" come on I miss her Rick I need to see her" alright let's go" rainbow dash said helping him up as they walked Rick and rainbow dash looked at each other as if saying "are we sure he's ready for this?"

Finally Gavin came down the stairs only to find that there was total silence until he walked in the living room to find daring sitting on the couch looking down at the floor "daring?" He asked. She looked up and smiled and then instantly ran to him hugging him instantly and then started sobbing "I missed you so much I didn't know you guys were here" well we're here and we're here to stay" he said into her shoulder almost like Rick did when they first seen each other "in so sorry about Paul" I know I miss him" I wish I could have seen him" we have so much to catch up on" rainbow dash spoke up "if you guys are trying to catch up fluttershy is having a get together with everyone at her house if you want to go" alright I'd like that" Gavin said "you need to take a shower first Gavin ya smell like shit" I've been laying down for the past two days sorry I'll... be back" he said before going up the stairs "I give him ten minutes" Rick said walking away to go and sit down.

"So glad you could make it it's been so long since we've seen you daring do" rarity said leading them to the rest of the group "where's Apple Jack?" Daring asked looking around "she decided to stay home and honestly I can't blame her it must feel horrible to loose a loved one" pinkie said fixing something to drink "its alright we can still have a good time" twilight said. Rick grabbed Gavin and said quietly "just let me know if ya want to leave" alright" Gavin said "sounds good" later that night it was around eight o'clock and daring, Gavin, and Rick were having a drink by themselves in the back room of the house "I never even asked and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to but... how did Paul die?" Daring asked Rick and Gavin looked at each other "I'll tell her" Rick said "do you um... remember Nichelle?" Ya she grew up with you guys" she thought we had ditched her and the only reason where here is because she killed me and Paul's family so she came here and killed Paul... made us watch and she even shot me in the hoof" Rick said showing her the small scar "where is she?" Daring asked in anger "she's dead" Gavin said before taking a huge drink of his vodka "why did you leave Gavin?" Daring asked "can you guys... leave me alone for a couple minutes?" Gavin asked "of course" Rick said walking out and holding the door for daring. The sound of laughter could be heard in the living room at least someone was having a good time "what happened back in canterlot Rick?" Gavin well he wanted to get away from his family and well... he came with us" did you ever tell anyone?" I told twilight and I don't know about Gavin and rainbow dash but I thought Nichelle would try to put the blame on me so I..." what?" I took pictures of the bodies for evidence and signs of a breaking and entering" where are they now?" Rick looked daring in her eyes "burnt em" as if on cue both ponies heard glass in the other room break followed by Gavin yelling. Rick looked over and opened up the door to see Gavin on the ground holding a stab wound wincing in pain. Daring looked over and saw that the window was broken "what happened?!" Twilight yelled running in "oh my!" Fluttershy yelled running to Gavin's side. Rick fell to the ground in silence realizing what happened "shining did this" he thought. He knew "Rick I need your help to keep pressure on the wound" twilight yelled. Rick didn't even hear her all he heard was ringing in his ears from anger "Rick?" Rick got up pulled out a gun he had been keeping in his pocket and stepped out the broken window "Rick?... RICK!!!" Twilight yelled after him but he gave no response. He was gunna end this...
