Keep going

Gavin woke up with a start looking around the room for anyone around "Rick?" He called out getting another feeling then he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He grunted and laid back down hearing the door across the room open "rainbow dash?" He said "Gavin..." where's Rick?" He... he's dead" what? What do you mean... no..." he started to get up "Gavin wait" no!" He yelled pushing her aside. Tears started to fall from her eyes as she slumped to the ground. Gavin walked up to one of the doctors "did a Rick check in here" down the hall to the left... hey shouldn't you be resting" Gavin ignored him and moved along running into the room to find Rick laying there dead with twilight next to him holding his lifeless hoof "what happened?" He asked tears falling from his face. Twilight looked over "oh... your awake" she said slowly "twilight what happened" shining..." she said "no..." Gavin whimpered "I'm gunna miss him Gavin" so am I twilight so am I" Gavin said hugging her both of them crying into each other's shoulders.

Two weeks later

"Gavin?" Twilight said standing in rainbow dashes bedroom. Ricks jean jacket still on her she had kept it as her most prized memento. She had told rainbow dash that she had something to give to him so she waited down stairs "ya?" Gavin said in a low sad voice "Rick told me to give this to you" she said pulling out the piece of paper and handing it to him "I'll be downstairs" she said. Gavin watched her leave and shut the door behind her. Her doing that made Gavin feel even more alone he wanted to leave the only thing keeping him there was rainbow dash and even then he missed Rick... he missed Paul. He slowly unfolded the paper and read it "Gavin I know your not that far from me right now but I can't talk to you as much as I want to tell you these final words it seems as though I can't. I just wanted to thank you for always being there for me and coming with me and Paul when we needed you the most just do me a favor. Keep going keep living on with this life and keep rainbow dash close because believe me when I say she loves you. Also keep an eye on daring for me and twilight tell her that I love her. I'll be with Paul soon and I bet he'll be the same dumb ass as before but I have to admit I'm scared i don't know what to expect how it will feel but one day we will all be together again me, you,Paul, rainbow dash, twilight, fluttershy,pinkie pie, daring do, Apple Jack,all of us and we'll be happy we'll have no problems but until then I ask that you keep going I'm about to say good bye to every one else so i ask one more time that you keep going..." Gavin felt a tear roll down his face as a hoof was placed on him "you were taking awhile are you alright?" Daring do asked "ya I'm fine come on let's go I'm sure the others are tired of waiting" Gavin said putting the note on the word robe and walking out of the room with daring do by his side. "Hey Gavin?" Daring asked "your not leaving are you?" No daring I'm not I would never leave you guys..."
