Another Life

Rick ran through the Forrest furious and more than determined to find shining "shining armor you fuck get out here!" He yelled "I know your out here" before Rick could turn his head shining jumped on him and stabbed into him with a knife causing him to yell in pain "remember this spot to?" Shining asked taking the knife out and stabbing it into Ricks cut where he had been stabbed before "I warned you, you son of a bitch!" Rick was breathing hard as blood gushed out of his side but he used his strength to grip the gun he held and smack it into shinnings head getting him off if Rick.

"I need to go get him before he gets hurt" twilight yelled "wait what if who did this tries to do the same to you" Pinkie yelled in a panic. Twilight pulled a small pistol out of her pocket and held it up "I came prepared" she said before hopping out the window and taking off. "I gotta go help her" Daring said "you four stay here and help Gavin" she said going after twilight. "I'm going to" pinkie said following. Rainbow dash grabbed the phone and started dialing a low depressed voice answered "hello?" Apple Jack you have to get down here we need you skills the guy who killed Jack is here Gavin's been stabbed and I don't know where Rick is twilight, daring and pinkie went after him I think he's gunna kill him but someone's gunna get hurt" alright... alright shit I'm on my way" Apple Jack said handing up the phone rainbow dash ran back to Gavin "its alright Gavin your alright we're gunna stop the bleeding"

"If you were as strong as you say you are you would fight me like a man" Rick said barely conscious "my goal isn't to fight you it's to end you" shining yelled attempting to bring the knife down but Rick caught it causing it to go through his hoof he gritted his teeth but nothing came out. Shining pushed harder and as a result stabbed him in the chest as well as his hoof "no matter what you do we will... always love each other" Rick said blacking out before he heard a faint gunshot and saw that shining was bleeding and fell off of him. That's when Rick saw twilight pointing a gun in there direction his old jean jacket waving in the wind "Rick?" Pinkie said in a low tone "twilight?" Shining said weakly. Twilight showed no emotion and finished shining armor off with a bullet in his head. "NO! Rick are you there?" Daring yelled "what's going on here?" Apple Jack said "we need to get him out of here" twilight said gently picking him up but Rick was done with everything that had just happened and blacked out.

Rick slowly woke up in the most pain he had ever felt in his life he saw all his friends talking to nurse red heart until they noticed he was awake "Rick?" Daring said "RICK YOUR ALRIGHT!!!" Pinkie screamed running over to him but twilight jumped in front of her "we can't touch him pinkie he's to fragile "where's... where's Gavin?" Rick asked in a low voice "he healing up and hasn't woken yet" Rick slowly nodded and took out his note pad and started writing and then closed it "I'm hurting a lot and I don't think I can make it through this" I'll let you guys have you final words" nurse red heart said walking out of the room "rarity I'm sorry I never came to your shop as a customer but you'll manage more than fine without me here" rarity looked down and sobbed "fluttershy you've came so far from when I first met you and I'm proud and remember your a beautiful mare that can do what ever she needs your strong remember that" I'll miss you" she replied "rainbow dash take care of Gavin for me please he cares for you a lot I've never seen anyone so perfect for each other ever in my life and keep the wonderbolts proud your there star" alright Rick I will I promise" dash said "pinkie I'm sorry we never got to hang out more than we ever did but you are the most fun and unpredictable pony I've met and I love it never change who you are" pinkie sobbed "thank you for saving me I wouldn't be alive if..." rarity held pinkies hoof in hopes to comfort her "Apple Jack... where do I begin you fun, talented, strong, beautiful and everything that I would want in a friend and I'll miss you" Apple Jack took her hat off and shut her eyes letting a tear fall to the ground no crying on the inside this time "daring you've been my friend for the longest of times you go back to when I met Paul and Gavin not to mention you saved my ass multiple times in battle I thank you for that and I hope you never forget me" daring started letting tears fall down her face "I won't... I won't forget you Rick I promise" Rick looked at twilight and grabbed her hoof softly "twilight... you are the most beautiful smartest and cutest mare I have ever met and your every thing I could ever ask for after what happened back at home you made my life worth living you took me and my friends in and I thank you so much for that I would fight for ya Twi I would fight until I die" twilight felt tears fall from her eyes knowing that he was dying for her in a way. He didn't give her up. He loved her "one more thing give this to Gavin" Rick said giving her the notepad. Twilight looked at him " I'll miss you" Rick said "I'll miss all of you and I will see you all in the next life I love you all and thank you for being there" Rick slowly looked over at twilight one last time "I love you twilight" oh Rick don't go" I... can't" twilight leaned over quickly and kissed him tears flowing from her eyes at this point she didn't care that everyone was there she didn't want to loose her one and only soulmate she was thinking this as she kissed him and when she finally broke the kiss she heard what she feared she would hear the most.
