Daymen had pulled several strings and they were now on their way to another country. Daymen had called it 'France'. Amancio stared out the window of the small rental car.

"Why are we going to this France place?" Amancio sighed.

"She wasn't in Spain, I would have sensed her gift." Daymen said coolly.

"But she doesn't have her powers," Amancio began.

"Your so thick, just because an angel loses their powers doesn't mean that they lose their gift." Daymen said studying the signs as they passed them.

"I thought the moon stone took both," Amancio nodded.

Amancio didn't actually know anything about how the moon stone worked or any gift outside his own. He could name only about twenty gifts, one was his and at least three were Daymen's.

"I really should have payed more attention in class," Amancio sighed.

"You should have gone to class period," Daymen said coolly.

He couldn't argue with him seeing as he skipped class almost every day and the teachers only passed him so they wouldn't have to deal with him on the odd chance he showed up.

"So what's this France place supposed to be like?" Amancio asked.

"Well I've never been there so it's hard to say," Daymen joked.

Amancio stared out the window at the country side.

"Daymen I was just wondering, where did you learn to use this machine?" He asked.

"I studied the human life because I thought you'd get us kicked out of the kingdom, I wanted to be prepared." Daymen sighed.

Amancio could tell he was being honest. It hurt that his best friend felt that he needed to prepare for the worst just in case the king and queen lost patience with him. Amancio couldn't believe that he felt bad, that was the hardest thing for him to accept, since he had only been doing what came naturally to him. His gift was crime related, it wasn't his fault no one can control what gift they get or don't. Or at least that's what Daymen had told him.

High school:

"So is she going to live?" Steven's best friend Cameren asked.

"If your talking about Melangell the answer would be yes. She had a slight concussion and she had to stay in the hospital over night but she'll be fine." Steven said coolly.

"Lighten up man everyone knows it was an accident," Cameren put his arm around his friend.

"It's not that, I didn't sleep well last night, well I may have, I had a weird dream, or I think it was a dream," Steven couldn't put it into words so he gave up trying.

"One of those dreams where you can't tell if your awake or asleep?" Cameren asked.

"Yeah," He nodded.

"Was it at least somewhere believable?" Cameren asked shaking his head.

"My bedroom," Steven nodded.

"Were there magical elves?" Cameren asked.

"No," Steven began.

"Then you were probably awake," Cameren decided.

"Why is it if a dream doesn't have magical elves you dismiss it?" Steven laughed.

"Because people would give me a weird look if I asked if their dream included magical pixie-fairies, especially guys." Cameren joked.

Steven shook his head laughing.

"Bro you are so messed up in the head," He laughed.

Angel world: Castle

"My Lord we looked every where, there is no sign of Amancio anywhere." The knight said with his hand on his chest.

"What about Daymen," He asked nervously.

He knew that Amancio wouldn't have kidnapped her if he didn't have Daymen in on it. Daymen was the brain of the two and Amancio was the evil genius, the manipulator, and the bronze.

"His place was empty, the neighbor says that Amancio went inside with a suitcase and Daymen came out with one as well. Another source says the spotted them hurrying out of town, in the direction of the portals." The knight explained.

His wife began to cry.

"Very well, keep people on their houses though," He ordered.

The knight bowed and left.

"You don't think they-" He began to say to his wife.

"They didn't take her," She said firmly. "They wouldn't have."

He had no choice but to trust her judgement. She always knew what was going on, whether she let on about it or not. Besides like all women she was always right.
