France:

France wasn't nearly as interesting as Daymen made it out to be. What's so interesting about a pointed tower and eating snails?

"Is she here?" Amancio sighed.

"I don't sense her gift, we might have to visit every country in Europe." Daymen sighed.

"Well how many countries can their be?" Amancio shrugged.

"In Europe alone there's over forty," Daymen sighed.

"How many countries does the human world have?" Amancio asked coolly.

"197, if you count Sealand and Taiwan, not that many people on earth have heard of Sealand though, and Taiwan isn't technically an independent country." Daymen sighed.

"So if we have to visit 197 countries and we have to spend a day in each one," Amancio began.

"And about a day traveling," Daymen sighed.

"This could take a while." Amancio nodded.

"Well certain countries are smaller so we wont need to spend as much time in them." Daymen assured him. "In fact some countries are so small we wont even know when we pass them." He added. Amancio didn't look impressed.

"Maybe we should buy a world map and cross off the countries as we got," Daymen suggested.

"I think your forgetting one small little detail." Amancio said quietly.

"And that would be?" Daymen asked skeptically.

"We don't have any earth money," Amancio said coolly.

Daymen smacked himself hard in the forehead. How could he forget? He'd found a way to use magic to power the car but they didn't want to become criminals in the human world, if they had to go to jail it would take them even longer to find the princess and get back home.

"Okay so we'll have to do some odd jobs to earn money," Daymen sighed. "but we'll need to do it soon or we'll lose track of where we've been."

School:

Steven was distracted all day. While he was pretending to take notes he was doodling.

"Those eyes are pretty," The girl who sat next to him said admiringly.

"Eyes?" Steven asked, then he noticed his doodles.

They were the eyes of the girl from his dream.

"Are you new?" Steven asked the girl.

"No, I'm Amy, remember your seventh grade science-fair partner?" She said quietly.

"Oh, sorry, I'm having a weird day, I almost didn't recognize my sister this morning." He sighed.

Not far above they eyes he began drawing wavy lines, lighter in certain areas and darker in others.

"Are you drawing a face?" She asked quietly.

"No, why?" Steven asked quietly.

She pointed at the wavy lines, which weren't just lines but hair, her hair.

"I must be really out of it today," He sighed.

Amy pushed her short black hair back behind her ear, and looked over the drawings.

"It's very nice, you can tell it's moon light and not sunlight that makes it shine." She said softly.

"You can? How?" Steven asked.

"Sunlight can be very over powering especially on blond hair, while moonlight is softer and makes it glow." Amy said softly.

"Amy, Steven, please pay attention," The teacher scolded.

"We were," Amy argued.

"Then what's the last thing I told the class?" He asked coolly.

"You were saying that Vacation City is the smallest country in the world which is incorrect, you see Sealand a micro-nation England had built on the remains of a sunken ship separated from England and declared it's self an independent nation becoming the worlds smallest country with a radius of 12 nautical miles and a population of 27." Amy said warmly.

Everyone stared at her and she looked very proud of her knowledge. Until the teacher got his focus back and went back to his lesson, then she turned pink.

"How did you know that?" Steven asked quietly.

"My uncle lives in England and he always complains about it." She laughed quietly.

"No, how did you know what he was talking about while we were talking?" Steven asked.

"I can half listen to multiple things. I heard the words 'Vacation city' and 'smallest nation' in the same sentence so I knew what to say." She shrugged.

The thieves hide out:

"I guess he wants us to lay low for a while." Jason sighed.

"How can we know? I mean Amancio disappears all the time but we usually have Daymen to give us orders. Now their both gone and there's nobody in charge." Peter panicked.

"Peter, calm down, we can put Jason in charge for now." Ciel said coolly.

"Me? Why me?" Jason asked blushing.

He was flattered, they wouldn't just put anyone in charge, it had to be someone they could depend on, someone who could pick a mark in a crowd.

"It's what Amancio would do if he and Daymen weren't going to be here, so it's what we'll do now." Ciel shrugged.

"I don't think I can, I mean what do I know about choosing marks and pulling off heists?" Jason began. Ciel nodded for Peter to leave, he didn't need to hear any of this.

"Jason, you have got to stop doubting yourself. You know you can do Amancio's job for a little while," Ciel began.

"But what if I can't handle it?" Jason began.

"That's why I'm here, I've always been here for you Jason." Ciel said gently.

He thought hard about what Daymen would tell him to say if he was there and then it hit him, something Daymen said all the time. Something he had burned into his brain in order to help Jason get over his fears. He put his hand on Jason's shoulder comfortingly and then quoted:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." (Marianne Williamson)

Jason relaxed a little, it was like some sort of spell to calm him.

"Your right as usual," Jason sighed. "Can we just lay low for a while then?" Jason asked.

Ciel forced a half smile for his friend.

"Of course we can, Daymen would have us lay low too." Ciel nodded.
