Sorry this took so long but Exams are right around the corner and I've been studying. I only wrote this chapter to take my mind off of them.

Italy:

"I don't understand, the streets were packed not a half hour ago," Amancio said looking around.

It was almost like they were in what the humans called a 'ghost town'.

"The whole country practically shuts down at this time of day, we're not going to be able to find any work or buy anything today." Daymen sighed.

"I still don't get why they speak another language here. How many languages can one planet have?" Amancio sighed.

"I'm afraid that even I don't know that one, you see the humans have tried again and again to get an accurate number but there are too many," Daymen said distractedly.

"Daymen, it was a rhetorical question," Amancio interrupted.

Daymen blushed, he didn't like to show off but when he knew the answer or thought he could help he wouldn't even notice what he was saying.

"Oh come on bro, your a brain, I'm a brawn, be proud of who you are." Amancio said warmly.

Daymen turned away, looking carefully t each sign.

"Hey that place is open, what do you say we get something to eat?" Daymen suggested.

"I could eat, even if it is human food," Amancio nodded.

"Your the one who wanted to come here in the first place," Daymen reminded him.

"How about we drop the past and live in the present where we get something to eat?" Amancio suggested.

The two of them went in a small restaurant.

"Ciao, benvenuto a pasto farfalle," A young man with blond hair said warmly.

"Grazie," Daymen nodded.

The young man led them to a table for two and handed them some menus.

"Il mio nome è Armando,  io sarò il vostro server." He said warmly. "Posso iniziare a voi fuori con qualcosa da bere?" He asked.

"Potresti darci un momento?" Daymen asked.

Amancio felt awkward, the only words he'd under stood were 'Ciao, Grazie, Server, and Momento'. The man nodded before heading back by the door. Daymen opened his menu. He translated all the drinks into English for Amancio.

"Sei pronto?" He asked.

"Si, due bibite per favore," Daymen nodded.

The young man nodded and headed back toward the kitchen.

"Is it just me or did he seem very tense when he came back?" Amancio asked.

Daymen nodded and watched for the young man's return.

"I think you're making him uncomfortable, just say 'Grazie' when he brings the drinks. As soon as he hears you speak he'll know you don't actually speak Italian and that's why your not talking." Daymen said quietly. When the young man came back, he placed the sodas on the table.

"Grazie," Amancio said quietly.

He simply nodded.

"Avete deciso cosa vorreste mangiare?" He asked quietly.
