Eight

(It's Friday so have another chapter! :P Hope you've been enjoying this so far :) )

Laurence's Pov

"Well... You" Garroth said. It caught me off guard I admit. In what way was he thinking about me. Was it happy that was his friend? Or Hatred of me?
"What kind of thinking about me?"
"I guess I've just been noticing the little things about you more."
"Like what?"
"Well the way your hair always falls to the right but I can tell you prefer it on the left."
I laughed a little "Got me there."
He smiled at me. He seemed to just stare at me. Gazing into my eyes. I didn't move though. I just stared at his light blonde hair. His ocean blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled. It is nice to notice the little things. But what was this feeling in my chest. My heart thumped in my chest. I started to shake. I felt so nervous all of a sudden like the kind of nervous you get while public speaking, I felt queazy.
He put his hand on my arm.
"Laurence are you ok your shaking a lot! Can you hear me earth to Laurence. Laurence!"

My thoughts seemed clouded and I gulped with every breath letting my eyes sting.

"Laurence what's wrong! Answer me! Do I need to call someone. What's going on?!" He seemed so worried. I was able to close my eyes and wipe them. Still trembling. I had no idea what came over me in those 30 seconds.

"Garroth what happened?"
"Laurence are you ok?! You just zoned out at first then you looked, I don't even know!"
"Yeah I'm fine, just a little shaken. Got too deep in thought I guess."
Before I knew what was happening garroth pulled me into a hug.
"Don't ever scare me like that again. If something had happened to you I might as well die."
"I won't." I started to let tears trickle out of my eyes knowing he wouldn't judge me and wouldn't burden me about it. He was like a giant teddy bear that you can cry into when your sad. I honestly don't know why I was crying. I stopped hugging Garroth and stared up at him. He wiped away the few tears left on my cheeks.
"Are you gonna be ok Laurence?"
"I'll be fine garroth."
Garroth then jumped at the sound of lighting, ruining the moment.
"Scared of lighting?" I joked knowing the answer damn well.
"Actually yes all the Ro'meave brothers are."
We laughed at how silly that sounded.

Zanes Pov

I stopped hugging Travis. It was raining and I was already soaked. He was too.
"My house is a little closer to this park. We can head there if you want? I suggested
"Yeah.... Let's get going."
We started running to my house.

~time skip to Zanes house~

Water dripped off our clothes. We laughed at each other and the way we looked. I felt warm and bubbly inside. The same way Travis made me feel when we were kids.... Happy.

"I'm gonna go change, you can borrow some clothes if you want."
"Thanks!"
I led him upstairs. I handed him some sweat pants and a black t-shirt.
"These should fit. There a little too big for me."
"Perfect thanks." He ran out of the room at the speed of sound.
I grabbed my self some grey jeans and a black shirt that said "I hope you have a horrible day."
I changed and brushed my hair. Travis knocked on my door
"You done?"
"Yeah come in."
His hair was a big mess. I held back my laughter. We walked down into my living room and sat on the couch.
"Want some tea?" I asked
"Yeah sure."
I walked into the kitchen and made tea.

We drank our tea as the rain poured outside. We had made it in just in time because I saw the flashed of thunder and lightning. I haven't actually heard anything yet so I've kept my cool.
"Hey Zane?"
"Yeah?"
"Remember what I used to do to you every time I spent the night at your place?"
"Travis No-
"TRAVIS TACKLE!" He tackled me with a bear hug.
"Gah Travis get off of me." I laughed. Then I shrieked a little then jumped at the load thunder clap.
"I almost forgot you were scared of lightning."
"I can't help it. It runs in the family ok?"
He smiled at me
"So ummmmm.... Zane."
"Yes Travis?"
"When we were younger you know last time we saw each other for a while you said "I can't believe I ever loved you" what did you mean by that?
He looked down at his knees. He was kneeling on the couch while holding them.
"Well... I had the tiniest of crushes on you back in Highschool." He laughed nervously.
