Twenty two

  Garroth's Pov

Travis and Zane came up stairs. They ran over to us.
"What's up?" Travis asked while Zane stayed silent while he buried his entire face in his mask.
"Well...." Laurence said blushing a little. He grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. "We're dating."
Their expressions made me worry for a second. I shouldn't have doubted though because Dante through his arm around me and fluffed my hair.
"Congrats dude!" He said while Travis laughed.
"That's great new big brother!" Vylad chimed
"Happy to hear it." Zane said surprising me.
Travis looked down at Zane who now had his mask on normally again. Zane gave a slight shake of the head and Travis sighed.
"Something wrong you two?" I questioned
"Oh no it's nothing garroth." Zane quickly blurted.
"Alright..." I said then smiled

~About around 8:00 in the evening~

Vylads Pov

I fiddled with my thumbs sitting on a chair. I heard my front door open and I fell out of my chair. I heard foot steps and curled up into a ball on the floor. The light flicked on and Dante stood there giving me a weird look while hiding something behind his back.
"Well this is awkward." I said getting up
"A tad more hilarious then awkward for me."
"Shut up Dante." I playfully punched his shoulder and sat down. He sat down with me still obviously still hiding something behind his back.
"What you got there~?" I sung
"Nothing~"
"Danteeeeeeeeeeeeee."
"Fine I guess I can give it to you now." He joked
"Ooo! Present for me!" I joked excitingly
"Here." He hauled out a small little brown teddy bear. I have a soft and big heart so little things like this make me just wanna squeeze it. I held it tightly.
"Thanks chu~" I said
"No problem." He laughed and patted my hair. "You know Vylad there is something i wanna talk to you about."
"Yussss?"
"It's about earlier."
"What a-about earlier?"
"Well let's just say you're very bad at mumbling."
I blushed bright red remembering what I had said earlier. Was that why he was so flustered?? Oh my Irene I messed up I repeat code red abandon ship! This is it the end good bye!
"And well." He blushed like adorable Cotten candy "You're great Vylad and all. Like you're a really good friend but..."
I felt my entire world shatter. He said something after that but I couldn't hear it. Just thinking about how much I messed up. He must have had gotten me this teddy bear because he didn't want me feeling 100% terrible. That's sweet I guess. I clenched the teddy bear tightly. I could tell he was trying to say something but I couldn't hear it. I should have known he didn't feel the same way. He loved me as friend. I could tell he was desperately trying to get across to me. Then everything went black and all I heard were the faint muffled sound of Dante saying my name.
