Why is she crying? I should be the one in tears! I have been mentally tortured by my parents ever since I started going out with Conner. It felt so good to let all of my feelings out, but now my mom is crying? Now I feel like a really bad person...

"Do you know how hard it is on us?" My dad asked. I just glared, I bet they just wanted me to feel bad.

"In the same day we figured out that both of our children were... well..." My dad started to say weakly, "Gay."

Okay fine. I will let them have that, but there is so much more that they don't realize.

My sister spoke up, "What do you exactly think a Gay person does?"

He stared at her blankly then answered, "I used to think that a gay man would be more femme. Like wear dresses and paint his nails."

"Triggered." I coughed.

"Well do you do that?" My mom asked.

"No." I said.

"Then how does it work Asher? How does a gay relationship work?" My mom asked.

Jeez I feel like the birds and the bees story they told me got reversed, except its more like the birds and the birds now.

"We are like every other couple! We hang out, we talk, we mess around, we just do normal things!" I said.

"What about... Sex?" My mom asked.

"What?" My cheeks flared up. What kind of question is that?

"Who's the "girl" and who's the "boy"?" My dad asked.

"This is seriously personal!" I said. I'm pretty sure my sister snickered a little.

"Please don't tell me you are the girl..." My dad said.

I looked down on the ground. I felt a little guilty, but I could have been on top if they didn't find us! I guess they could tell by my actions that I was not on top.

"Oh God!" My mom exclaimed. Hey! That's really rude Mom! You hypocrite...

"So what? He's happy, right? That's all that matters right?" My sister tried to cover me, but she was going to get attacked with the same question.

"So which one are you?" My dad asked irritated.

Her face went pale for a second. Its not a easy question to answer. I would know.

"We both are." She said, barely getting any words out.

"Can I just say something?" I asked, this conversation is taking a turn for the worst.

Everyone looked at me. I sighed.

"I don't give a damn about gender, okay? I don't care if Conner is a girl or a boy. He is amazing, nice and thoughtful! He cares about me. I love that about him! He is a person! Why can't I just choose to love someone who is good to me?" I asked. That sounded really good!

My parents seemed a little overwhelmed at first. Then there was silence. Okay, I'm pretty sure I messed up something.

"Let's go home..." My dad said.
