The next day was pretty much the same, except for practice. We had an official practice match today, with the boys again.

I hurried out of last period and got my bags from my locker to go change. I changed into a F/C tank top, black shorts, kneepads, and my favorite pair of volleyball shoes. I went out to the sinks where the mirrors where so I could do my hair and ran into Yui, one of the other girls on the team.

Yui had a black and red t-shirt on with black spandex shorts, red volleyball sneakers, black kneepads, and her brown ombré hair was in a ponytail.

"Hey Yui!" I said with a smile.

"Hi! Are you ready for practice?" Yui asked, energetic as always.

"Yeah! We're going to do great!" I said hopefully.

Just then Akane came out of one of the stalls. She had a maroon shirt and black shorts on and her hair was also in a ponytail. "Hey guys!" Akane said.

"Hey!"  Yui and I replied.

Then the girl from yesterday, the girl who was shorter then me by a little with black hair and blue eyes came out of the stalls. Did someone in her family die?!? She looks like she's going to a funeral! I thought. The girl was wearing a black tank top, black shorts, black kneepads, and black volleyball shoes. Her hair was in a high ponytail which kept swinging around.

"Oh! Hi!" Yui said flashing a huge smile.

"Hi," the blue-eyed girl groaned.

"A-Are you ok?" I asked concerned.

"Didn't you hear? We're playing a practice match with the boys today," she replied.

"What?!? Well we're gonna kick their butt today!" Akane said waving her fist.

"Wait... Have you guys seen Hinata-kun spike though... He may be short compared to the rest of the boys, but he can jump, and he's really, really fast," I said starting to become nervous.

"Yeah... And Akane's brother is really scary," Yui said.

"Really? Who's your brother?" the black-haired girl asked.

"Did you see that tall, brunette yesterday? He has a beard of sorts and like long brown hair?" I said trying to describe Asahi.

"Oh, yeah I remember, no offense but he is pretty scary," she said.

"Don't worry about him, he's a little cinnamon roll!" Akane said and we all laughed. "For real, he's a total softy."

I finished up doing my hair and asked the girl something, "Hey, I never got your a name, mind telling me?"

"Oh! I'm sorry, my name's Kitori, Kitori Kazuya," she said with a smile extending her arm but her smile was quickly replaced by fear.

"Don't worry, we're going to be fine. Or at least I hope," I said.

We went out to the gym and saw that some of the boys and girls weren't there yet. I whispered to the girls, "Guys, let's spy on them and see who and what we should look out for!" The girls nodded.

We saw Hinata and Kageyama, who I met during fifth period, doing their freak quick. "Look out for shrimpy!" Kazuya-chan said.

"Yeah! That quick is impressive, but we can take them!" I said and everyone agreed.

"Oh look at that number twelve! His float serve could be dangerous once he gets the hang of it," Yui said pointing at Yamaguchi.

"Yeah and eleven is a good blocker... sort of," Akane said.

"WE CAN WIN AGAINST THEM!" Kazuya yelled surprising us all.

"YEAH!" We all waved our fists and started laughing.

Coach Ukai and the rest of the players came in soon after and we began the practice match.

Our captain, Michimiya-senpai, was playing front left, Akane was playing front right, Yui was playing middle back, I was in middle front, Kazuya-chan was in right back, and another girl who I didn't know yet was playing left back.

"Ok! Girls serve first!" Coach said and Kazuya went to the back line. She threw it up and jumped for a jump serve, it went far over to the left but a guy with brown hair with a bit of blonde in the front got it up to Kageyama. He set it up to a guy whose head was shaved and he spiked.

Yui was fast enough to run over and dive to the ground getting the ball up. My turn. I thought and set it up high toward Michimiya. She was surprised at first but slammed it down to the other side and we scored a point.

"YEAH!!!!!" We all screamed.

Kazuya served again this time aiming toward Kageyama, Smart, then the setter can't get first ball. I thought but my smirk faded as Kageyama got it up and the libero, the one with a bit of blonde jumped right before the white line and set it up to Akane's brother. He spiked it with enough force to knock off your arms, the girl in the left back got it back to me, although it was since that play by the libero was unexpected. I set to Akane this time. She jumped up and hit it down toward Hinata. He got it up to Kageyama and screamed, "SEND ME A TOSS!"

DAMN IT! That freak quick it coming...

"GET DOWN! TRY TO RECEIVE!" Our captain yelled and we did as she said.

But Hinata was overwhelming. He spiked it down to the corner right on the line.

"YEAH! Nice spike Hinata!" I heard the boys say.

I felt a black wave sweep over the gym. Oh no...

I turned and saw Akane was glaring at Kageyama, terrifying as ever. Kageyama turned and returned the glare, black waves rolling off him. They went into a glaring competition while everyone else hid. Akane kicked up her glare making her even more terrifying and frightening.

"U-Um you guys are freaking e-everyone out," Yamaguci stuttered, Akane and Kageyama turned their glare at him and he jumped out of his skin. And I thought Akane alone was creepy, put the two together and they can reave havoc onto the world.

Neither of them was obviously going to give up so we just waited until it died down, no one, not a single soul was going to get in between those two. They were glaring giants with a taste for revenge, and that was enough to keep us away for a long time.

We kept playing, play after play, until it reached a deuce. It was Hinata's turn to serve when a substitution was made, Yamaguchi was going to serve.

His serve made it over but it was as confusing as ever, it looked like it was coming straight to Yui when it made a turn and I had to drag myself over and slide my arm under it until Akane tried to set over to Kazuya who jumped up but didn't spike. She tipped it over to the other side letting it fall to the ground. "YEAH! Alright! Game point!" Michimiya encouraged us.

"Yeah! Nice set Akane!" We all said.

"And good feint!" Akane said.

"Well let's do this! Your serve Michimiya!" I smiled at our captain.

"Nice serve!" We all chanted and Michimiya threw the ball up and slammed it. It went over to Tsukki who got it up hastily to Kageyama. He tossed to who I thought was the captain but was blocked by Michimiya, the girl I still didn't know the name of, and Akane.

"YAYYAYAYAY! We won!" I stuck out my tongue at the boys.

"YEAH!" All of us high-fived.

"ONE MORE!" Hinata and Kageyama yelled.

"One more what?" I asked.

"One more match," Kageyama smiled which was very, VERY creepy.

"Deal," I smirked.
