Happy first day of Autumn. It is also my first journal entry in this new online journal. I am so excited because Autumn is my favorite season. If you have come from my Summer journal please comment so I can know you are here. Just like with that one, I am hoping to get to know a few more people through this.

When the younger son asked his father for his inheritance, he might as well said, "I wish that you were dead." Yet the father, who is a picture of God, does not withhold the estate from his son. This painful response tells us a lot about our heavenly Father. God loves us so much that He is willing to let us pursue our pain filled ambitions while He waits for us to come to our senses.
