Jake's point of view.
I looked down at the limp body in front of me, and then back up to the gun that was in my hand. I just shot someone... and killed her. I realised. I knew if I hadn't of shot her I would be dead too, but I never wanted to be responsible for someone's death. What would Melinda say?
I suddenly realised where I was and looked over to see Melinda's lifeless body on the ground. Running over, I checked her pulse, nothing. I heard Jake groan and saw his face was pale and the amount of blood that had came out of him was a lot. I knew there wouldn't be much of a chance that he would survive even with the bandage on. I then looked at Melody, her face was purple and checking her pulse, I realised she was dead as well.
All of a sudden there was a crash and I turned around to see 5 policemen armed with guns running in, when they saw the scene they ran over to me and immediately locked me up in hand cuffs.
"What are you doing? I swear I didn't kill these people, only this woman in front of me, who killed the rest of us and almost me. I only shot him to defend myself." I cried, hardly believing that any of this was happening. The policemen looked down at the woman, and gasped.
"THATS MY DAUGHTER YOU MONSTER!" One of the policemen yelled lifting up his gun as if to shoot me.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, but I have proof that it was her that captured us and killed these guys, but first is there an ambulance coming?!" I screamed, wanting them to understand that I never intended to hurt the girl and I needed Melinda to live.
"Yes the ambulance should be here in about 1 minute, but it doesn't look good... Where is your proof." The policeman said. Reaching over, I carefully took out Melinda's phone from her grasp, with great difficulty as I was still handcuffed. After she had called triple 000 she had turned on her camera to video just before DJ had came through the door. It was still videoing so I stopped it before handing it over to the policemen. I watched as their faces paled and after it was finished they took the handcuffs off me and gave me a sympathetic look.
The door to the room opened and two paramedics came in. They looked around before first heading over to Melinda.
"How long has she been out for?" One of the paramedics asked me.
"About 5 minutes," I told them as they took out two defibrillators.
"Clear!" Yelled the other paramedic as the defibrillators were pushed onto Melinda's chest and a zap echoed through the room. I watched as Melinda's lifeless body arched up and then back down again, and it was then I realised that she would live, she was a true fighter, or so I hoped.

Melinda's Point of View
Slowly opening my eyes, I took in my surroundings. White walls, white roof and white people. Oh gosh, this is what heaven looks like.. it could have been more colourful. I thought, remembering, as the shock of what had happened before, came back to me. I tried to move, but soon realised I couldn't. I started to panic, as I realised I was truly alive and in hospital but what happened Jake, Melody and Jake.
A sharp beep echoed through the room and I started to have trouble breathing. All of a sudden there were 5 white people by my side, putting needles into me and trying to get me to calm down. I was crying and screaming.. Everyone was dead I couldn't be alive, what would Mum say? I felt a sharp pain ripple through my arm before everything went black again.
