A drop in the ocean

Hana (p.o.v)

"Zayn?" i asked shocked , how did he find me? did somebody told him where iam?.

"Ha-na?" he asked wide eyed , when i looked closely at him he changed so much , his beard had grown and he look so much older , he looked at me again then at farida , he kneeled down infront of her and smiled.

"you are so beautiful" he said to her as he caressed her cheeks with his finger examing every part of her face , farida looked at him weirdly then she blushed and hide behind me.

"we have to go" i mumbled , i took farida's hand and dragged her out of the grocery store leaving all my things there , i will come later and buy them.

as i was walking to my car someone grapped my hand , i turned around to find zayn again.

"do you expect me to let you go again?" he asked panting as he was running after me.

"you did let me go before so why wouldn't you let me go this time?" i asked him with my voice cracking , i didn't want to cry infront of him because crying shows weakness and i'm strong , i've been so strong for three years now.

"i have looked for you everywhere but i didn't find you , i've looked for you for like months but-" he tried to explain but i stopped him.

"but you gave up" i said coldly , "listen zayn , i've been good on my own and i don't need you in my life or my daughter's life again so please get away from" i said putting farida in the backseat buckling her up.

"please give me another chance , i've changed i swear , i promise i won't mess it up" he said with tears rolling down his face.

"yeah of course you changed , bye zayn" i said getting in my car , he just stood there doing nothing , he knew that he won't change my mind.

"just you know , i'm not giving up on you" he said .

"whatever zayn , oh and don't forget to say hi to suzy for me" i said faking smile , he looked at me shocked , i smiled to myself and drove home.

i looked at the rear mirror to find farida sitting with confused look on her face , "mummy why do you hate him? he helped me when i was lost"  farida asked .

"i don't hate him honey" i said , she frowned.

"but you were yelling at him" she said.

"farida i don't want to talk about it" i said annoyed still with him.

"when he found me he asked me about my name and he kept hugging me to calm me down" she said smiling softly.

"farida i said i don't want to talk about it!" i said raising my voice.

"but mumm-" she said but i cutted her off "FARIDA!" i shouted at her , she stopped and her eyes waterd.

i sighed annoyingly , he just came in my life like 15 minutes ago and he already making me scream at my daughter , i heard farida crying.

i parked infront of the building , i got out of the car and went to open farida's door , i unfasted her belt and went to pick her up but she refused.

"farida i'm sorry" i said trying to pick her up but she kept pushing me away , i didn't have a choice but to do that.

"LET ME DOWN" she screamed as i picked her up and went to our flat , i opened the door fast and put her down at the living room.

"farida sweety i'm sorry , mummy was ju-" i tried to say as she kept crying "I HATE YOU!" she screamed and went to her room.

those words keeps reapting in my head , i sat on the couch and began to cry , me and farida always loved eachother , we never fought but all of this happened when he came in our lifes , he just came in our life for like an hour but he made me scream at my daughter and making her hate me.

i went to her door and knocked "farida?" i said.

"Go away!" she yelled , "honey please let me in" i said.

"NO!" she yelled , i sighed and went to my room , i changed in my pijamas , i didn't close the door completly in case she got scared and wanted to sleep next to me , i went under the covers and closed my eyes drifting off.

it was 9 am now , i was already dressed , i went to farida's room and knocked , "honey are you awake? it's time for the daycare" i said but she didn't answer , i opened the door to find it unlocked , i opened her door and went to her bed , i found her hugging her teddybear , her face has a dry tears from yesterday , my face softned , i didn't know i had hurt her that much.

"farida?" i shook her gently , she opened her and glared at me.

"what?" she said coldly , i sighed.

"listen , i'm so sorry for what happened last night , i was still upset about you getting lost" i said sitting next her in the bed , she looked at me for a minute then she smiled.

"ok i forgive and i'm sorry too mummy" she said .

"for what honey?" i said playing with her hair.

"because i said that i hate you" she said.

"i forgive you as long as you didn't mean it " i said.

"of course not , i love you mummy" she said hugging me , i hugged her back and kissed her hair.

"i love you too babygirl" i said.
