William maybe a bit OOC I am very sorry if it seems that way.
So now that we have that out the way let's start :)
You and William had been together for a while. You knew everything about each other or at least that's what it seemed like, he however was blissfully unaware of one small detail about you or at least you thought it was small and not at all important, but it was very important.
William had no idea that you were a cutter, until he caught you while you were in the middle of cutting.
"(Y/N) What are you doing ?" William said with shock, horror and fear laced in his tone.
"I-It's nothing Will, honestly, What are you doing here dear I wasn't expecting to see you until the weekend." You said with tears threatening to brim over your eyelids and fear written across your face and wavering in your voice.
"Nothing? Why wouldn't you tell me about this, why wouldn't you just let me know that you were struggling like this . . . why?" William said with a deep frown forming and sadness taking over his form. You knew he wasn't angry with you, just worried about you but as always it's not that easy with the feelings and thoughts you have 'He hates you now that he knows' 'Honestly no one could love something like you, look at how pathetic you are.'
"I'm sorry . . . you probably hate me and you have every right to, i'm so pathetic and a complete waste of. . ." William cut you off before you could say anything else "NO! I could never hate you, and your not a waste of anything love, you are perfect and I wouldn't want you to be any different. You can't keep doing this to yourself though, you deserve so much better and much more." he said to you while looking at your scarred and bloody wrist as he gently takes the blade from your other hand and lays it down.
"Come with me to get you cleaned up." William takes your hand in his and walks with you to the bathroom where he gets some alcohol pads and some gauze to clean and wrap your wrist up with. As he cleans your wrist he talks to you a little "We don't have to talk about this right now if you don't wish to do so, but I do want you to tell me eventually. I am sure you have a reason for doing this." You can only nod in response and it wasn't much of a nod at that you had never had someone catch you cutting before and honestly didn't know how to react or what to say or even what to think about it. As another long silence comes over the room you finally notice William was done bandaging your wrist and was just looking at you back to hiding his emotions as usual 'He can be so hard to read at times, I wonder what made him like this anyway' Williams voice cut through your thoughts "I'm sorry (Y/N)." William said lifting your face up to look at him
"About what Will? You have nothing to be sorry about."
"I never noticed, it was so obvious too. I should have noticed this sooner, I should have been there for you more I should have. . ."
"William please stop. It's not your fault that I did this. It has nothing to do with you, You probably wouldn't have known until I told you, have you not walked in and found me. Point is you wouldn't have known because I didn't want you to know, I wanted to avoid something like this happening. You shouldn't blame yourself, you are doing fine and I love you for all that you do for me."
"I love you too (Y/N). But just know i will be keeping my eye on you for now on." He said with a smile on his face "I know I can't stop you completely but I can watch you and try to prevent this from happening." He said more serious this time. You looked up at him with a smile on your face knowing two things that this man did in fact love you and that he would always be by your side no matter what.
"I understand William, I look forward to it." You said giggling a bit. 'I think i'm ready to start a new chapter in my life, one without razors in it'
