Chapter 4

Isabella asked," What do you want to know"
Brantley said," I don't know let's start off with this , are you a morning or late night person?"
Isabella said," I can be both depending on the situation, I stay up late working a lot of times and don't usually go to bed before 2am if I am working at home but on tour it's more like 4am which sucks on those days when you have to be up and presentable by 7am. It's my job so I get up put a smile on and go to work because I know there are a lot of people who would kill to have a job like mine." 
Brantley said," okay you and I will be okay then, I usually work on songwriting after a show on the bus until between 4-6am. I am usually wired and have to wind down. Sometimes that means other people will be on here until that time. Then I sleep until about 2 pm get up and eat, do sound check, come back and chill and the shows we have VIP session then eat a light something before the show and then we go on. I'm not a morning person at all but like you I put a smile on my face when I have to be. Word of advice don't speak to me until I have had at least a couple of swallows of coffee after I get up. I'm not normally a mean person except then and I just usually have no filter on my mouth at that time."
Isabella said," duly noted if you do the same, I won't speak until I have had it cause I tend to say what I think and I don't like that. Most of the time I'm easy going and most people would say I'm quiet. I observe it comes with taking pictures, I take pride in the moments I catch that aren't posed the memories in the making. You can't catch those if people notice you and know you have a camera, they won't be themselves. So please tell everyone to be themselves I don't care if they are loud or vulgar I just need real ness. Now my turn to ask you since we are roommates is there gonna be times you need me to not be around"
Brantley laughed till he cried," Darlin' just come out and ask what you want to"
Isabella said," I did what's so funny?"
Brantley said," I don't have a girlfriend if that is what you are asking and I won't be bringing random girls on my bus. I am 31 years old and I am done with one night stands or random hookups. Now tables are turning are you gonna need me to bunk with the guys?"
Isabella laughed," no jealous boyfriends for me and well you will probably find it strange cause most people do that at 29 I haven't ever done the random hookup or one night stand. That was never me."
Brantley raised an eyebrow," never?"
Isabella smiled," Never and while we are confessing things I have never been drunk either"
Brantley said," oh me wait till the guys find that out, they will be trying to set you up to get you drunk and have a one night stand."
Isabella said," to get me drunk I would have to drink unless they drugged me."
Brantley said," they won't drug you some of them might try to trick you to drinking but if they know you don't then it won't happen. Can I ask why you don't drink ?"
Isabella grinned," in the one who likes to document moments can't if you are drinking but no it's just not something that was ever done in my house. We lived in a dry county and that's not to say I didn't drink ever but when you almost die by a drunk driver then you tend to make sure someone stay sober."
Brantley said," I guess you know my story about drinking and that I have been sober 4 years and I don't mind people drinking so don't let me bother you if you want to."
Isabella laughed," Well when your dad is a preacher then it kind of puts a damper on that too. And to be honest I hate the smell of beer It makes me want to vomit , now Jim or a fruity drink then I was your girl the few times I drank."
Brantley was shocked," okay are you gonna turn into the wild preachers daughter on this tour and I have to monitor you and a little thing like you drinks Jim, the fruity drinks I can see but Jim, I mean one shot and you would be over the limit no bigger than you are."
Isabella said," no one shot does not make me drunk and I was never out of control wild, I just hung with a rowdy crowd as a rebellious thing. They all called me miss goody two shoes. I didn't care at least I remember every experience I have good and bad. Although there are a few I would like to forget."
Brantley said," how many shots have you taken at a time and not been drunk?"
Isabella grins," I'm not telling you and why you so hung up on how big I am?"
Brantley," Well cause you are tiny, I bet you done weigh 98  pounds soaking wet"
Isabella laughed," I weigh 100 pounds but I'm short so much more than that and I look fat"
Brantley roared with laughter," I don't think anyone would call you fat"
Isabella said while rolling her eyes," Well yeah lots of people have but I don't really care, according to my grandmother I'm an old maid and ain't no one gonna want me now that I'm past my prime."
Brantley said," it has to be a southern thing cause my momma is on me that I need to meet a nice girl and settle down she's not getting any younger. So I will warn you she will try matchmaking with you."
Isabella said," same warning goes for mine"
Brantley said," Jeff told me you lived in Nashville but where did you grow up?"
Isabella said," I grew up in a small town in North Alabama, it had 1 red light"
"Wow Jefferson was a little bigger than that but I know what small town in the south is about." Brantley told her.
Earl told them that they were about to stop to eat and meet up with everyone else. Isabella got up and went to the cabinet she grabbed her camera and checked everything before she turned around. Brantley told her to meet everyone and then worry about pictures and she just grinned and said even when I'm not working I usually have a camera. The bus stopped and they got off.
