Katelyn Pov

After I finished putting our plates up, I told Christopher to get dressed and ready. I told him I had a surprise for him.

Right now, we're in the car, just minutes away from the daycare. I had made a call, they pulled a few strings letting us come in for however long we wanted to. We had to make sure the parents were okay with this of course.

"What's... Where? What's my surprise?"

Christopher asked, looking out the passenger window as he always does. I swear I'm going to have to take him to the beach soon. He's so amazed at everything around him, even the things he sees everyday.

It's like every time he looks at me, it's the first time he's seen me, and falls in love all over again... (Hint, Hint.. THIS IS A HUGE HINT!!)

Pulling up into the parking lot, I watch as Christopher gives a puzzled look... Mentally smacking my forehead, I realize that of course he wouldn't know what this place is... He's never been in one, nor has seen one before.

As we begin to walk into the building, all you could hear was screaming, crying, and the smell of piss. Instead of immediately scrunching his nose at the smell like me, he simply beams with delight. He jumps up and down excitedly as a lady walks up, and scurried is into a room full of children.

I watch as Christopher scans the face of each and every kid, frowning as he focuses. Suddenly his smile and giddiness comes back as he faces me.

"We're here to make a baby? How much does it cost to make a baby?"

He questions me. Shit, it costs more than an arm and a leg for a baby.. Shit, even for a teenager.

"It costs a lot."

I know what he means. I know that he doesn't really know where babies come from. I'm not going to ruin his innocence.... Yet..

"Yeah..? Well, I can work for it. Save... Money."

He nods in understanding.

"No, Christopher... I was just joking."

I crack a smile, and so does he. He nods, then turns his attention to a little girl who was tugging at his pants leg.

"Come! Come pway wih me!"

She exclaims, reaching for his hand. He bends down a little, and grabs her hand, walking off. Suddenly, a little boy comes towards me, tapping my knee.

"Can.. Do you know how to play dinosaurs?"

He questions, scrunching his eyebrows together as he looks up at me, tilting his head to one side.

"I sure do."

He grabs a piece of my pant leg, and drags me across the room.

No matter how badly they get on your nerves, you still have to love those respectful, sweet loving, and polite children.
