Reader POV

If I went on (bike/skateboard) with my boyfriend Tyler. We raced down hills and went as fast as we could. I hadn't had this much fun in a long time.

We both decided to go on a pebble road that wasn't stable. I went to fast and I lost my balance. I knew what was gonna happen next. I began to fall.

I hit the ground and my leg was underneath me. I felt it twist and break. I was scared to look at my leg.

When I shuffled around pain shot up from my ankle all the way to my hip.

Tyler yanked himself around and ran to my side.

"A-a-a-a-r-r-e you o-k-ay!" His spoke very rushed and incoherently.

"Tyler I need to go to the hospital." My tone was strained because of how much pain I was in.

Tyler ran his fingers through his hair and mumbled some things. I tried to calm him down but it wasn't working.

"Fuck, Fuck, fuuuuuccckkk!" Was all I understood from his jumbled words.

"TYLER CALL 911." I yelled to get his attention.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at me. "What is the number!"

I can't believe he just asked me what the number is for 911. We stared at each other for about 30 seconds before the pain intensified.

"Tyler dial 911 and tell them we need help."

After he calmed down enough to do this he finished the call and he grabbed my hand. He just started apologizing for being "a fuck up."

The pain was so bad that I slipped in and out of consciousness.

I don't remember riding in an ambulance or getting surgery on my leg. But I I remember the pain.

I woke up in a hospital room and Tyler was sleeping with my hand in his hand.

I kissed the top of his hand and whispered "I love you."
