I wave goodbye to Seth as he starts to pull out of my driveway at roughly 9:30.  I hate to call it a night so early, but I'm just so tired.  Not much happened after dinner.  Seth and I just went back out to the beach again to walk around and talk some more, mostly about normal things like school, family, jobs, and stuff like that.  There's nothing depressing like being one step closer to being Batman thanks to dead parents.
When I finally turn around and actually go inside this new place that I now get to call home, I see that my darling family decided to wait for me to get home in the living room.  All freaking seven of them.  How lovely.
"What, no kiss goodnight?" Em teases, which earns him a sharp smack from Rose and a scary-as-hell growl from Jaz.  Reason #10 as to why they're my favorite siblings.
"For the last time, we are just friends!  You know, for a vampire, your memory sucks popsicles."
"Enough you two.  Bear, you should probably go get a shower and get ready for bed.  You all start school tomorrow."
"Come on! We just got here a few days ago!"
"Amber." Carlisle says sternly as he looks me in the eye.  That's when I know to shut it.  He only uses my full name and that tone when I'm walking on thin ice.  I nod at him to show that I understood his warning before I go upstairs and do as I'm told.

As I'm walking out of my bathroom and simultaneously towel drying my hair, I look up to see Rose awkwardly standing in the corner of my room.  It's like something was bugging her but she was trying to be positive.
        "What's the matter, Rose?"
"Nothing.  Did you have a good time?"
"Yeah.  We had dinner and talked for forever."
"Oh...that's nice. And he treated you well?"
"Yeah. Seth's a good guy. I think you'd like him. Is there something you wanted to talk about? I know you said you had something to say when I got back from dinner."
"Yes, I did! And this is not to be told to anyone for supernatural reasons."
"Supernatural as in the tv show or the super secret?"
         "Smartass."
"C'mon, Rosie! You know I'm your favorite!"
"Actually, Berry, that would be Emmett."
"Hey! Whatever happened to 'sisters before misters'?"
"You're ridiculous." She rolls her eyes as she comes over and sits beside me on the bed. "So what I wanted to talk to you about is the fact that there are other supernatural creatures here besides us."
"I swear if you say there are mermaids or wizards here I am going hunting and making friends."
"Eheh no, silly girl. These creatures are a much different kind of beast than you're thinking."
       "What are you talking about?"
"There's a Native American tribe not far from here and some of them have the ability to turn into werewolves." Of all the mythical creatures that were running through my mind, I was not expecting that.
       "...What?"
