Rylie's POV

As soon as I hit my bed, I basically passed out. It had been a longer night than I had expected. My mom woke me up around nine in the morning and told me breakfast was ready. I wasn't really hungry and I actually wanted to get my work done so I told her to save me some for later.

I stayed in my pajamas and began to work out all of my schoolwork for the day. It was more than yesterday, but it wasn't so bad. I was done by lunchtime and went into the kitchen. As promised, my mom had the bacon, eggs, and a cheesy biscuit in a plate set aside for me. I put it in the microwave and set it to heat it up. While I waited, I got dressed and fixed my hair. I thought back to what Harry said about the makeup and decided to put the foundation I was about to put on, down.

I walked back into the kitchen and took my breakfast out. I ate everything rather slowly and I was full before I even ate half of my biscuit. I put the rest back into the microwave and sat down onto the couch. I actually didn't want to bother Gemma with my presence today, so I didn't ask if she wanted to hang out. I just watched the tv. However, around three she called and asked if I wanted to come over and I agreed. I was getting bored channel surfing anyway.

I grabbed my phone and put on some shoes. I told my mom I would be over there at her house and she yet again warned me to stay away from Harry. It was getting a little annoying how protective she was of me. I said goodbye and walked out of the house. I remembered a little too late that I didn't have my key to get back in. I silently hoped my mom left the key under the mat, because by the time I get back home she will already be at her night shift.

I went to Gemma's house and she happily tugged me inside as soon as I reached her door. She plopped onto her couch and I almost rolled my eyes. Harry and Gemma we're complete opposites when it came to personality. Or from what I know about the two of them.

I sit down beside her and we chat about random things. One of the most appealing topics was her on again, off again boyfriend.

"So you two are together right now?" I ask, raising my brow. I hadn't had a huge girl talk in a long time and it made me realize how much I missed this.

Gemma nodded and smiled. "We should stay on again for a while. I hope to even...," she trailed off and shrugged, blushing. "So what about you...? Has anyone caught your eye?"

I was about to answer when Harry came over and handed Gemma her iPhone. "Someone is calling you," he told her. Gemma reached to take the phone from him but he shook his head and pointed to the door. Gemma sighed and took the phone. She disappeared out the door and left me with Harry.

"Hey Rylie," Harry said, sitting down beside me on the couch. This was too weird being right beside Harry. Last time I came here, he tried his best to avoid me.

"Hi," I answer. I wasn't sure where we stood. After last night, I almost consider us friends, but watching him make Gemma leave the room made me change my mind.

Harry handed me a photo from the table and I studied it. "Sweggy," I say, lying it back down. I realize a little too late that I just said "sweggy" right in front of Harry. I usually only said that around friends and family. It wasn't a normal thing to say around people like Harry. I wasn't sure why I was so worried about it if Harry was my friend.

"What does sweggy even mean?" Harry asked, but Gemma returned before I could even answer him.

Gemma took Harry by the arm and pulled him out of the room. I rolled my eyes as soon as she came back. "He bothers all of my friends I am sorry," Gemma told me and smiled. I was glad Gemma was back but I was a little disappointed that she made Harry leave.

My phone dinged and I checked my text. "What does sweggy mean? You didn't tell me" the text said.

I texted back,"how did you even get my number?"
