Audrey's POV:



I woke up to the bright morning sun shining in my face.

I looked at the clock.

10:54 am.

I got up out of bed and took a quick shower.

I picked out a pair of high waisted skinny jeans and a white crop top.

This one covered my belly button.

I picked out a pair of white nikes.

I let my hair down naturally wavy.

I put on a little makeup and went downstairs.

"Hey Aud!"

I turned around and there stood Kelly.

"Where did you come from?" I asked pushing her playfully.

"You should really lock your doors at night." She said laughing.

"Freak." I said laughing with her.

"So what are we gonna do? My house?"

"OMG! Yes! I haven't been there in forever!" I said grabbing her wrist and leading her and I out the door.

"But could you make a quick stop?" She asked nervously.

"Let me guess. You want to get Ronnie?" I said rolling my eyes.

Even though I said it kinda bitchy on the outside.. On the inside I was boiling with excitement.

"Please Please Please?" She begged.

"Fine. Lets go."


We left in Kelly's car and picked up Ronnie.

Kelly was driving, Ronnie was in the front seat and I was in the back.

Ronnie kept sneaking glances at me in the rear view mirror.

I just giggled when he did so.


Kelly would look at me like I'm crazy.

"We're here!" Kelly announced.


"Finally." I said shaking my head grinning.

We went inside the house and I plopped down on the couch.

Ronnie sat on the end of the couch followed by Kelly sitting on his lap.

I took out my phone and started texting Derek.

"Who ya texting?" Kelly said smirking.

"No one." I said smiling.

Out of the corner of my eye I could feel Ronnie stare at me once I said that.

Kelly leaned closer to me until she saw the contact name of the person I was texting.


"You're texting Derek!" She said grinning.

"Maybe I am." I said smiling.

Like I said before... I have a small crush on Derek... but again who doesn't?


"So where's the date?" She asked smirking.

"In my bed." I said jokingly.

"Use protection hun." She said grinning.

"I was joking!" I said hitting her playfully.

Ronnie looked at me all serious like.

What's his problem?

"I'll be right back." Kelly said smirking and running upstairs.

Ronnie looked at me.

"Uh what?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said rolling his eyes.

"Don't have to be jerk." I mumbled so he wouldn't hear.

"What?"

"Nothing." I said mocking him.


"Ok so guess what?" Kelly said coming downstairs.






"Hmm?" I asked pretending to be still distracted on my phone.

"Surprise!" She said turning around.


I looked where she was looking and there stood my sister that I haven't seen in months.

"Avalina!" I said jumping up and hugging her.

"Audrey! Oh my god you've grown so much!"

"Look at you!"

"Who's that?" She whispered in my ear.

"Kelly's Boyfriend." I whispered back.

"Mhm." She said winking.

I smiled.

"Ronnie this is Audrey's older sister Avalina. Avalina this is Ronnie my Boyfriend." Kelly said grinning.

"Nice to meet you." He said smiling.

"Nice to meet you too." Avalina said smiling back.

"Well Ronnie we should go up to my room and give these sisters some catching up time." Kelly said dragging Ronnie upstairs.

I stared at his bare back until he disappeared into Kelly's room.

Why is he mad at me?

"Whats wrong sis?" Avalina asked worried.

"Nothing it's just boy drama." I said fake smiling.

"C'mon. Talk to me. We haven't seen each other in like 4 months!" She said kinda sad.

"Ok ok. Well it's Ronnie." I said looking down.

"But that's Kelly's boyfriend.."

"I know! I didn't mean we're dating its just he's one of my best friends and for some reason he's mad at me."

"Oh. Well you should ask him why.."

"I know but not now. When we're alone."

"Well ok whatever you say."

"Hey and can I tell you something about Ronnie and I?"

I fidgeted with my fingers unsure if I should tell her about me and Ronnie's 'friends with benefits' deal.

I mean it's nothing big right? All it means is he's allowed to kiss me once in a while.. at least think so...

"Go ahead." She said smiling.

"Well um yesterday Kelly was working and Ronnie and I went to the park. At the end of the day we made a deal."

"Which was?"

"That's we would be friends with benefits like we could kiss each other once in a while."


"Audrey.. Kelly's your best friend. Why would you do that?"

"I-I don't know. I guess I have some feelings for him. Although I know he just made the deal with me just for fun." I said realizing what I did to Kelly.

I have to tell Ronnie the deal is off.

"Well do you think what you are doing is right?"

"No..That's why I'm telling him the the deal is off the next time I see him."

"Good. That's the right thing to do. But hey do you really have feelings for him?"

"I think I do I mean I get butterflies every time I see him.." I said blushing just at the thought of him.


"Well I think you should tell Kelly about how you feel about Ronnie so you can get it off your chest."

"What? I can't do that..She'll hate me."

"If you tell her the truth about how you feel then maybe she won't."

"You know what.. You're right. I'm gonna tell Kelly about it"

Kelly came downstairs with Ronnie.


"Tell me what?" Kelly asked smiling.

I looked at Ronnie.

I guess today is the last time I'll ever see him..

"Uh Kelly. It's about Ronnie." I said nervously.

Ronnie's eyes shot up to me as I said his name.

"What about him?" She asked getting serious.

"Uh can we go to your room and talk?"

"Spill it Audrey." She said half angry half worried.

"I-I like him." I said not looking at her.

"Duh he's like your second best friend." Kelly said smiling again.

"No I like him more than that..." I said looking up to find Ronnie starring at me.

"You-You Bitch!" Kelly said getting up from the couch and slapping me.

I felt my cheek burn.

"Kelly!" Ronnie said holding her back before she slapped me again.

"No Ronnie she's right. I am a bitch. I deserved that. I shouldn't have kept my feelings to myself. But now that I talked to my sister I realized I had to tell the truth. I don't deserve you but Kelly does so now that I got that off my chest... Today is the last you guys will ever see me." I said grabbing my things.

"Audrey.." Avalina said worried.

"I made my decision. So see ya I guess." I said heading for the door.

"Audrey." Ronnie said walking to me.

I could feel my eyes tearing up. I caught a last glimpse of Kelly starring at me tears coming out of her eyes.

"Bye Ronnie." I said leaving out door with Avalina behind me.

We got in my car and drove home.

"Audrey you never said you weren't going to speak to them again." Avalina said as we entered the house.

"Well I made my choice and I thought it would be best if I never talked to them again."

"Well if you're ever down you can count on me." She said patting my shoulder.

"Yeah. Thanks by the way." I said hugging her.


I went to my room and layed on my bed.

I looked at the ceiling.

People might call me crazy for saying I would never speak to my best friend for over 6 years but of course I didn't mean I would NEVER see them again.. Just for a little while.


I needed a break from a this drama.

And I knew exactly how I would get a relaxing break.
