At a morning breeze, a 20-something young man strolls around a residential mountain-slope resort near Dumaguete, Philippines  using his bike as he shouts for triumph and freedom.

As he gets tired, someone called out his name.

"Darren! Darren!" ...at a distance

He then puts his bike down... and starts running towards the one who is calling him. Somehow he trips as his head falls down to a pointy rock. Then a man's voice then shouts "DARREN!" once again.

Fortunately, at this point, is somehow Darren's dream

At London airport, we get to see Darren who wakes up from a dream as his fellow friend named David an american orphan who had called Darren many times because of Darren's flight which is about to take off.

10 Darren's now, Dee. "10 Darren's"

Find Shady next time.

Stop being being ridiculous.

Whatever.

Darren, in reality, is an Filipino orphan, one of the eldest orphans in The Wrist Band Foundation.

This foundation is founded by two foreign couples Frank and Victoria Laurea. They themselves are once millionaires of their own families in the Philippines. Both are then married after graduating college and became stockbrokers abroad in New York. 15 years later, their son, Max encountered a motorcycle accident. Both Frank and Victoria attended Max's funeral as they soon learn that Max was forming a rock-band named "The Wristbands" which involve orphans to make their own covers of their favorite songs. These orphans are then brought to United Kingdom where they start their gig. Hence, Frank and Victoria then formed the orphanage for the children a place to stay.

10 years later, Darren one of the eldest among the wrist-band orphans, is then offered to find his parents alone in the Philippines as a reward, however not knowing where they are. Frank provided Darren a large amount of money enough for his travels while  he and Victoria are facing issues of not closing down the orphanage and the foundation.

Upon giving his ticket to an attendant...

What's the matter

You think she'll be okay?

Still?

Darren looks back at David.

"Yeah" David says it without resist but seems unsure with the words coming from his mouth.

"I'm gonna miss it"

David sighs. He then says "She's seeing someone"

I heard about that

Glad, I shared that information"

Darren exhales "If I find parents along the way that's where I belong"

Well.. that could happen. Maybe some filipina would end up with you and that's for sure.

How sure are you?

50/50

wow, that's really helpful

Look, you made a deal with Frank and that's that. I'm not gonna stop you because I know you. He knows you. You still have things to learn

"True"  Darren agrees "Til next time"

Good luck finding your parents, Dee

Both Darren and David share a hug. Walking in separate ways, Darren pulls out his  cassette tape as he inserts it in his Walkman on his way to a flight going to Manila.
