Description: Josh is trying to go out to his first college party with his friends after, getting cheated on by his ex and Tyler knows the perfect way to make him forget.

I walk into the main door into a small kitchen area. I am met with a view of the archway that leads to the living area also containing the staircase that accents up to the bedrooms. There is another door as well that leads down to the basement with classically cement floors. This is a typical layout for any of the party houses along campus.

This particular house is property of the baseball team. The whole team collects here to get drunk and party on the weekends where they aren't swarmed with games. It's supposed to be strictly team member access granted but, what's the fun in a house full of dudes for straight men? Therefore, they allow people to invite guests. Thats how I'm here. Currently, I'm trailing behind my best friend Ryan as he helps one of the newer members set up the bar.

We arrive a little early so it is only a few of us. About forty minutes later is when everyone begins to filter in. I am greeted by many considering I frequent these parties as Ryan's plus one. However, I notice a new face among the familiar crowds. He has dark hair that sits messily atop his head. The sides of his scalp shaved giving him an edgy appearance . His skin is slightly tanned most likely due to the fact he's outside practicing a lot. He has a navy blue button up on and kaki pants with shoes and a belt to tie the outfit together. Even with his arms covered I can tell he is muscular and fuck is that a nose ring?

I search the busy house high and low for Ryan to figure out if he has any idea who this guy is. Eventually, I spot him at the beer pong table alongside another boy on his team. Quickly, I tap the boy on the shoulder and ask him if I can jump in as Ryan's partner. He agrees and I step in, sinking my first shot with ease. "Oh hey! There's my favorite partner" Ryan said smiling brightly at me. "Hey. Who is that?" I question turning around to discretely indicate the boy in question. Once we establish who I am pointing to his eyes get wide initially before he leans in to answer me. "That's Dun. Josh Dun he plays short stop" Ryan answers, confidently attempting another shot and missing it.

"Okay cool. Anything else that I actually care about, Ry?" I stress taking my turn and missing it as well. He rolls his eyes but none the less he gets closer and gives me helpful information. "Alright. Josh  is a junior who just transferred here this year. He had a boyfriend when the season first started but I heard the kid cheated on him after a few weeks of being at separate schools. So, newly single but probably not looking for something serious. This isn't really his scene I think this is the first party he's ever shown up to. That's all I've got I don't really hangout with him outside of practice but, Vic does if you need more. Why?" I smirk finding out I had two things in my favor. Firstly, he is interested in boy's and secondly, he is single. "No reason" I say shaking my head in his direction. Ryan gives me a look of disbelief but none the less shifts his focus back to the game of beer pong in progress.

As the night carries on I am drinking more and gaining confidence with each sip. Being sure to keep an eye on the Josh kid as I make my rounds. I notice he isn't drinking anything and this gives me an in. I quickly run downstairs to the crowded bar and have one of my female friends go up and flirt with the bartender so I wouldn't have to wait. Once, she returns with the two beers I thank her and watch her disappear into the packed basement. My next step is to find Josh. Which, isn't hard to do considering he didn't move from his earlier spot leaning against the kitchen counter. I strategically slide up next to him and sit up on the counter space beside him.

"Hi! I noticed you're not drinking anything." I said with a beaming smile extending the full beer towards him. He took it and returned an obviously forced smile. "Thanks uhm" he muttered. "Tyler" I finish. As I formulate my next move I hear Ryan's voice yell loudly above the crowd. "Ty! Kyle and Ronnie have won like 5 times you gotta knock them out. They're getting cocky." He continues to scream as he fights his way past all the people and to me.
