Tyler
I awoke with a very apparent throbbing in my head and a churning in my stomach. The churning causing me to drag my practically lifeless body to the bathroom. I sit down along the cold tile floor and lift the toilet seat up. After which I wrap my arms around the porcelain, awaiting the inevitable to release itself into the water below. Immediately after throwing my guts up, I hear my hotel door being opened. I decide not to even attempt to move from my helpless position.

Appearing in the doorway of the bathroom is my (date) Melanie. Also known as the friend I bring to these things so that I don't have to be as bored. I certainly was not bored last night, actually I don't even remember most of it so who knows. "Hit the bar to hard?" the older girl says with a smirk as she leans against the doorframe. "What do you think" I respond sarcastically. Right afterwards, dry heaving into the toilet bowl for a few minutes. My body must have come to the conclusion that I have nothing else to bring up because the sick feeling subsided slightly.

I stand up in a desperate search for painkillers when my friend approaches me, griping my arm in her hands. Seeing the black marker adorning my arm (that I hadn't paid any mind too) she squealed with excitement. "Oh my god Tyler you actually got that guys number" she says attempting to make out the smeared figures. "What guy?" I question with honest confusion. She exits the bathroom returning back moments later with my cell phone in her hands. "The cute server with the red hair and the nose ring. I didn't think you had it in you Joseph." she jokes as she types the phone number into my phone, staring at the other script confusingly.

"What was his name? He wrote two here Daniel and Josh" she urges with wide eyes. I push past her still scouring the small room for my Advil. "I have no idea. I don't remember him." I say frustratedly looking inside of my suitcase. She saves the number with no name and throws my phone on the bed. "Tyler you can't let this slip away. You have to call this guy." the girl urges. I am visually uninterested as I find my Advil and take a generous amount. Swallowing the pills, I continue our conversation.

"How am I supposed to call someone who's name I don't know?" I question the girl clearly annoyed. "Just describe him to the people at the front when we check out Ty. How many people that work here will have bright red hair?" she states as if she has solved world hunger. I look at her shyly before shaking my head no. "Fine I will ask them. Now hurry up and clean up. Check out is at noon." she informs, turning on her heal and exiting the hotel room.

Managing to pack my things without throwing up, I make my way downstairs with my belongings in hand. I turn in my keys before standing next to Melanie and waiting patiently for her to do the same. Flawlessly she slips the topic into conversation. "I had a great waiter. I don't remember his name but he has bright red hair. Do you know him?" Melanie asks. The front desk girl looks towards her in confusion as she slips the receipt into her hands.

"Uhm I'm not really familiar with people in other depart- wait" she says turning her attention to a man walking behind her and grabbing something from the printer. "Hey you're in the banquet department! Is there a guy with bright red hair?." She asks so softly smiling up at the very tall man. "Who wants to know?" he says automatically defensive. The front desk girl, seemingly unaffected by his attitude, gestures to Melanie. "Oh girly he isn't interested I promise" he says beginning to stroll off. "I'm not interested. I'm asking for my friend. He wrote his number on his arm last night." she states a matter-a-factly putting a hand on my shoulder.

Stopping in his tracts he brings his full attention back to us. "Oh you're the cute boy who couldn't remember his name. Still having trouble?" he questions teasingly in my direction. I simply nod at the man causing him to chuckle lightly. "His name is Josh. He was really taken with you. If you were thinking about calling him you definitely should. He's the sweetest man alive." he coos before disappearing with his papers.
