Fix You - Coldplay__________________________
Delia's POV:
I woke up with my cheek against Cole's shoulder. We were leaning back against a tall rock that was looking out over the river. Every memory from the night before was flashing through my mind. The biggest memory of last night was not anything having to do with the gallery or the interviews, but the biggest thing that was still echoing in my mind was his words. They vibrated through my body.
Delia Marin, I'm in love with you.
I closed my eyes again slowly, the light from the rising sun reflecting through my eye lids as the birds let out quiet chirps. I laid my cheek back against his shoulder, and I felt his arm move slightly, his hand sliding up my back slowly. His words still haunted me. I knew I felt the same, but I didn't know if I felt it as strongly as he did. I didn't want him to be in a one sided relationship, but at the same time all I wanted was him. All I remembered after that was the silence of me not saying it back. I felt him press his lips against my forehead as I slowly opened my eyes. I looked up at the outline of the city against the lightening sky. I let out a soft sigh as he pulled his fingers through my hair.
"Delia," he whispered softly. I hummed in response. I looked up at him slowly before gently pressing my lips against the freckle on his chin. "You ready to go find out what they said about us in the newspaper?" I nodded slowly, still fairly sleepy. He started to move under me as I slowly sat up. He was standing in front of me, checking himself for dirt as he looked down at me. "Are you okay?"
I nodded again before getting up myself. I was leaning against the tree as I checked myself for dirt, brushing it all off gently. He held his hand out to me, and I gently slid my hand into his.

Delia's POV:
I was standing next to him in front of the paper stand. My hand was still in his as we just stared at the small headlines.
"Delia Marin Standing Up for Innocence While Becoming a Sex Icon"
"Well that's new. I'm a sex icon now apparently," I laughed softly before picking up the paper, reading through it. There was everything about me telling the editor from Marsh NY to fuck off to the skittle incident. Cole stood with his hands on my waist as we skimmed through the paper. I leaned back against his chest as he set his chin on my shoulder.
"Well I mean, what's new? You were going to get there of your own accord," he whispered, chuckling. I gently elbowed his chest as I pulled away from him, picking up the Marsh NY latest edition. We weren't even in it.
"We're they too embarrassed or did they take the threat to sue to heart," I smirked as I threw it back on the pile, turning to Cole. He shrugged as he moved his hands to his hips. He turned his head to the side, hiding a yawn. I sighed softly as I looked up at him. Everything about him was beautiful. I could see every muscle in his neck when he yawned and the freckles against his soft skin were outstanding in the soft sunlight. I knew I was staring, but I also knew that despite how absolutely wonderful he was, I wasn't sure that I was as in love with him as he was with me. He was still my best friend at the end of the day. I frowned softly as he pulled his hands over his face.
"Let's go home and just sleep today. Sound like a plan?" He nodded before sliding his hand into mine. His large hand engulfed mine.

Cole's POV:
She had been distant since last night. She had been quiet, even more so than usual. I felt like I had said the wrong thing, but I had just said what I had felt. I couldn't have been that wrong, could I? She was laying on her side of the bed with her back to me. I was laying on my back as partial sunlight was managing to come through the curtained window. My hand was resting against my stomach as I stared at the ceiling. What if she didn't actually love me back? This is why I didn't want to date in general. It happened the last two times. I loved them more than they loved me. I frowned as I rolled my head to the side to look at her. She didn't say it back. She might not love me back, not like that.
