As soon as Melodee and I got home, I went to my room to finish unpacking.
The unpacking didn't take very long, so I decided to take a quick nap before Melodee and I would go to a fight club we had heard about back home.About two hours later I woke up to Melodee shaking her awake. "Come on, it's time to go to the club." I whispered to her. She let out a groan before slowly getting up and out of the bed and then making her way towards the closet.
Now that she was awake, I made my way back to my own room and quickly got changed into some comfy clothes.I walked out of my room just as Mel was leaving hers. Ironically we both chose almost the exact same clothes just in different colors. I smiled and shook my head before heading down the stairs and towards the kitchen. Grabbing two water bottles out of the refrigerator, I turned and followed Melodee into the garage and into my car.
It didn't take long before we were pulling up to the club which was hidden under a fancy looking bar called "The Alibi".
We both walked in confidently and made our way towards a man standing in front of a closed door.
He looked at both of us and raised an eyebrow, "What? You going to let us in or not?" I said in an annoyed voice. "I don't think you two pretty ladies will be able to handle what goes on down there." he responded back with a smirk.
I shoved him aside and opened the door myself before walking in. Behind the door was a large staircase and I could already hear all the noises and yelling going on below me. It's been way too long since I've been able to be able to let go and just fight someone, it was as if my heart was going to burst from excitement.
Mel & I continued down the stairs until we got to another door without someone guarding it. "Not too smart are they? Cops would be able to get in without anyone noticing with this shitty security." I grumbled while rolling my eyes which made Melodee laugh. She nudged passed me and open the door which made the noise 10x louder. We both entered in and my eyes immediately landed on the cage where there was two females fighting. With how many cheers there was you would think it'd be a good fight, but neither one of them knew how to throw an actual punch. This would be easier than I had thought which disappointed me a bit, I had been hoping for at least a little bit of a challenge. Looking around, I was able to see a man who clearly was the person you were supposed to go to to sign up. Leading the way there, I could feel my hands shaking. To anyone else it would probably seem like I was scared, but Melodee knew the real reason.
The man turned to us as we walked up and looked us up and down before saying, "And what can I do for you, sweetie?" in a low voice. "I'm signing up to fight. Any rounds that are available, sign me up." I said in a neutral tone. He raised an eyebrow at me before saying, "You sure about that? We've got some pretty good fighters here tonight. I would want that pretty face to get messed up too bad."
"Are you signing me up or not?" I commented quickly. He shook his head a couple times before telling me I had to place a bet first. I ended up just betting 100$ on myself to which he rolled his eyes at. "You're next in line, so be ready." he said, making me smile.
Turning to watch the pathetic fight still going on between the two girls, I couldn't help but shake from excitement.
