"Everyone down!"
There was a loud yell, and me just being a mere shoulder obeyed the orders. As I was down in the ditch, hoping the bombs they were throwing would miss me I saw a little kid in the kitchen of one of the houses about to be raided. It was the first time I disobeyed an order. I grabbed my smaller hand gun, with good aim could cause a lot of damage, and headed in there. As I ran into the kitchen. The little girl turned to me with a gun at me.
"They said if I hurt you I could go to Daddy and Mommy."
She whispered softly. I took three deep breathes and fired my gun, hitting her between the eyes.

"No!"
Olivia yelled her eyes letting tears roll down her cheeks to her hand. As she lifted her body up panting, almost in a pattern, her leg leaned off the side of the bed. Casey woke up looking at her.
  "What's wrong babe?"
He asked propping himself up in his own bed. After the war the two of them went back home to civilian life, but the war still haunted them and everyone in their dreams.
"Just a bad dream I'm okay..."
She said wiping her eyes. Casey, not knowing about her PTSD forming, nodded and kissed her before laying back to sleep. He slept happily, not knowing his death and his sister was just a few years ahead of them. Olivia got out of her bed and sat in the kitchen. She sat there drinking a coffee, spilling it on her gown when she heard three knocks on the door.
"For the last time Mr. Day I haven't seen your-"
She stopped her sentence opening the door and seeing an agent stand at her door. With her gift she developed as a child she could figure out that she was an FBI agent.
"cat."
Olivia finished her sentence for the woman who she thought was Mr.Day. The woman at the door didn't know Olivia already knew she was FBI, so she flashed her badge and stated her name.
"I'm Special Agent Fiona Grimbly, are you Sargent Olivia Brennan."
Olivia was shocked that the woman knew who she was, not only that but was looking for her.
  "It's Doctor now."
We're the only words Olivia could manage to say out of her dry and cracked lips. The woman, who's named presumed to be Fiona, chuckled.
"May I come in Doctor Brennan?"
Olivia nodded opening the door a bit more. Not fully trusting this woman,as Agent Grimbly walked inside to the living room, Olivia grabbed one of her guns and put it in her robe. The two sophisticated women sat there in Caseys living room, who was sound asleep and presumed his girlfriend was. There were a few moments of silence before you could actually hear Olivia's thoughts out loud.
  "Why are you here?"
Fiona nodded, understanding the rudeness in Olivia's voice.
"The FBI wants you to join."
Olivia let out a chuckle and a snort.
"Ha. That's rich."
Olivia that this was some kind of joke. They never would hire someone like her. In her mind once they have her a psych evaluation, they wouldn't hire her since her illness of the war.
"It's not a joke Doctor Brennan."
   "Why do you need me?"
Olivia asked softly, hoping Casey wouldn't here there conversation. After the war, the two of them decided no more dangerous stuff. Casey already had job interviews for multiple things lined up and Olivia had two job offers she was considering.
"We need someone in L.A with your particular skill set."
"What exactly is my skill set?"
Olivia was annoyed with the FBI agent acting like a NSA agent. Never Say Anything.
"You have a great sense about people, you have great observation skills, and you are excellent  in multiple fighting styles."
Agent Grimbly had a smirk on her face. Olivia debated the job.
"I'd have to go to Quantico first?"
Olivia asked in a serious tone, actually considering leaving her nice home in D.C and boyfriend.
"Yes but for a much shorter period since you've had multiple trainings already. A month or so. Then to L.A to work with the FBI."
"When? When do I have to tell you my answer?"
Olivia turned her head to the stairs, hearing footsteps. Her lips parted on thinking what to say when Casey came down the stairs.
  "Who is she babe?"
He asked, rubbing the back of his head with his hand.
"I'm a friend of Olivia's from high school. So you'll call me tomorrow by three pm?"
She said in an asking tone to make sure the male didn't suspect anything. Olivia nodded, letting the woman let herself out.
"Why was she here at four in the morning?"
Casey asked taking his lovers hand, secretly taking her pulse. Olivia, knowing what he was doing, let go and spoke.
"She needed to talk about some stress going on in her life. Come on and get to sleep you have a job interview tomorrow."
Olivia led him back to their bedroom letting herself loose her grasp on being awake. In the morning she woke up to an empty bed, meaning her lover was already gone.
"Okay, I can do this."
She got up taking a shower and getting dress. She went downstairs and frantically trying to find her suitcases. After a few hours and a lot of packing she got a call on her cell.
"Dr. Brennan."
Olivia made her identity known to the unknown caller on her personal cell.
"It's three do you have your answer?"
Agent Grimbly asked. To Olivia's knowledge Fiona could be anywhere right now, but Agent Grimbly was in her SUV waiting for the word.
"Yes, I'll take it."
Olivia hung up, knowing she would pick her up by car.
"Go!"
Fiona demanded the driver, since she wasn't driving. When the car pulled up to her house, Liv put her suitcases in the car without speaking.
"Are we driving there?"
She finally asked seeing how they turned away from the airport. No response, which she took a yes.
"Hey babe, great news!"
Casey yelled opening the door. Usually when he got home she was in her personal office so he went there. His smile fell when he saw a piece of paper with writing on it where her laptop used to be. He walked over slowly to it, thinking it was a suicide note. He slowly picked it up, hand trembling.
'My dearest, Casey.
It's been three years since we first met on the battlefield, and it's been three years of battles. With the world, with each other, and with our lives. When we were both honorably discharged, we agreed no more danger in our lives. I thought I could life without the thrill, without the chase, but I miss it. I miss saving people's lives, so as you read this I'm on my way to be a trained FBI agent with the L.A FBI. I love you Casey, forever and always.'
Tears rolled down Caseys face hitting the paper and amusing the black ink Olivia had written her goodbye letter with.

"You can't do this to me Sara I'm you're way back to Rick."
Olivia said in a loud man or, angry as she struggled against the zip ties that bonded her to the chair.
"See I can get there on my own if Ricky keeps his part of our deal."
Olivia looked at her with a questioning look, needing to know what was going to happen.
"He's gonna blow that Jeffersonian you love so much sky high with everyone inside."
Sara whispered, kissing Liv's cheek before walking away. Her friend, or old friend, that killed her lover smirked.
"See you on the other side."
He mentioned softly.
"I'll see you in hell."
She spoke as an agent put a blind fold on her and a gag. They left the room, closing the door behind them and locking it.
"When will they find her in the hotel?"
Sara asked the man, name unknown to all, about Olivia.
"After the explosion she'll be let loose."
"I hope she can go with out anything for a week then."
Sara chuckled to herself.
"Is she okay?"
Temperance asked after being informed about the situation that had happened. Everyone was silent again.
"I think we need to talk to Rick."
Zach suggested. And the room fell silent.
