Star frowned looking offended and I immediately regretted saying that "i-i mean" I blushed intensely "how much of that did you hear?" I sighed disappointed in myself "all of it" I looked up but she didn't look back. She turned away but kept talking. "You realize there is no way I would fall for one of these tricks again?" I didn't respond I knew this would happen I could feel her staring me down but I refused to meet her gaze then she spoke softly "Prove it"
