My head was pounding I groaned everything hurt I tried to get up but I wasn't strong enough ... I concluded I was back in my room ... "Hey Maaaaarco" I heard Star sing as she knocked on my door " Your mom made blue berry pancakes there really good" I could tell she was eating one i could hear her ooing at its flavor "come on Marco your pancakes will get cold" I weakly smiled and even just that hurt i didn't try to move or look to see I heard the door creak open Star must have gotten impatient I flinched hearing her plate drop and break I heard her whimpering i felt her touch something something impaled in my back it hurt I groaned flinching she's crying I felt a tear hit my eye and I flinched it stung I couldn't scream it hurt to much I wheezed she touched my face and that finally did it I screamed in agonizing pain holding my face clenching my teeth together "Marco ... Marco h-hey it's okay" she held me down I couldn't tell her how it hurt so I pushed her away ..she fell ... star... she was weeping ... what did Toffe do to me? I heard her leave and soon I heard a siren of an ambulance .. and was soon wheeled away I blacked out again
When I woke up I felt a lot more mobile still weak but not pained "star .." I wheezed I could see her in the corner of my eye I smiled she was asleep in a chair I watched her for a bit she began to flutter her eyes open she yelped as she looked at me I just stared "m-Marco ...I -I'm sorry I hurt you i -I just didn't know how to react .. " she was tearing up " Star..." I wheezed it was hard to talk it felt like my mouth was unmovable I watched as she choked on her tears " W-who would do this?" *water was pouring from her eyes I tried so hard to speak* "Toff-.e" *she smiled tears flowing* " Toffe is dead remember we defeated him together " she placed her hand on my lap I began to weep how could I tell her? " dose it hurt still?" I just let my tears out I couldn't move my mouth I just glanced at her slowly she covered her mouth tearing up " don't worry w-we may not be able to fix you b-but the doctors say you can get used to being - " she was crying again I hated it it was so annoying I couldn't move or say a single sentence to stop it "we will find who did this I promise" I wheezed growling angrily "Toff-e" i clenched my teeth at her I saw her eyes widen her shoulders stiffened as she looked away refusing to meet eye contact with me m-Marco t-this will sound a bit odd ... but do you remember a dream maybe ... where you ... were Tom? " I growled I could feel her getting scared as my mouth unhinged to speak angrily that I could not communicate and was angered with how oblivious she seemed "YES" i wheezed growing I saw the fear in her eyes ... I whimpered my god what's happening to me? " d-don't worry Marco ... " her smile was warm even though I had tried to make her FEAR me .. she teared up again .. " I know it's not your fault " I saw her hand on the edge of my bed and struggled to hold it she giggled crying and kissed it taking it holding it... what did I look like ... what did he do to me exactly why was she reacting like this? "Moir" I mumbled she shook her head nervously I growled and repeated it louder "Moir!!!!" she looked down and reached in her bag sobbing .. she pulled out her wand and conjured up a Moir I looked at myself hyperventilating Star stroked my arm and I looked at her then back at the mior whimpering ... a purple a blue and black scar covered my face my eyes where red my teeth where sharp and pointed like shark teeth my right hand was pure bone while the arm was not the left ... was fine .. my leg on my left was bone to the foot where the flesh was perfectly intact and worse attached to my back a pair of big ugly bat wings I was a corpse ... a monster ... I began to sob "w-wait wait wait Marco I -I brought something" I sniffled but stuttered to turn to her she pulled out a similar outfit my outfit I wore to the blood moon ball and its mask and some gloves " I-it will cover everything I made sure. T-that way you can s-still go out without feeling..." my lip quivered I felt her hand on my chest " I -think you look cool!" She smiled wide looking directly into my eyes "well not cool hot as hell" she giggled pointing two finger guns as me and I blushed she must have seen it through my bruises and scars because she blushed as well "I'm sorry .." she looked away " I should have trusted you well not you Tom well .. not exactly..Tom-" I cut her off and grabbed her hand I felt tears hitting my hand she hugged me tight and I groaned in pain i heard her sobbing "don't ever scare me like that again! You you.." I smiled and layed my boney hand on her back I smiled weakly at least I have star back now she rubbed my back in circles resting her head on my shoulder " y-your parents went home a bit ago they were tired I - I uh kinda snuck out to see you t-they will be here tomorrow they are really worried I think they will be happy to see your awake" *i rested my head on her shoulder despite the pain* "I missed you Marco" i missed you too Star ..
