Chapter 2: The Confrontation

Yang and Ruby, followed by Isaac, were walking to the courtyard to talk about where to go and what to do. Ruby smiled childishly up at Yang, talking fast. "Oooooh Yang I hope that we get on the same team together!" Ruby said happily. But she was cut of by Yang being crowded with her friends and running off to do Yang stuff.

Ruby looked down as she was left by her older sister. "Hey, cheer up Ruby, I'm a first year too so we'll get through this together!" Isaac said, trying to be optimistic, even though he was also nervous on where to go. Ruby perked up a little and looked at her new found friend. "Okay, Isaac was it? Let's go!" Ruby walked with Isaac and they ran into this girl with white hair pushing a cart with some cases on it. Ruby, being the little clumsy girl she is, bumps into the white haired girl. The girl's car falls over, spilling the cases and the contents inside, and some colored crystals fall out, shattering. The colored dust causes Ruby to sneeze and a big explosion comes out of Ruby's nose. After the short burst of chaos settles, Ruby looks at the girl. "Hey! Watch where you're going you dolt! That stuff you spilled is very expensive! Do you even know who I am?!" The girl screamed. Ruby was speechless, feeling terrible about it. "I-I'm so so so sorry! I didn't mean to!" Ruby said as she looked at the girl with resentment. "Hey, you don't have to scream at my friend like that y'know! She didn't mean to." Isaac said with quite an attitude. "Ohhhh, now who are you to talk to me, Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee throne like that?" Weiss scoffed. Ruby looked at Isaac, then she looked at Weiss and she grabbed Isaac's arm, pulling him away from the argument and into the auditorium.

"What are you doing?! You just told off Weiss Schnee!" Ruby said with concern. "I don't care who she is, she was yelling at my friend." Isaac said as he patted Ruby's head. "We're friends after all, and we gotta stick together Ruby." "Okay, I guess so..." Ruby said as she sees her sister. "Yang!" Ruby says as she runs over to her big sister, Isaac following behind. "Sooo, how's my sister been doing with her new friend?" Yang said as she looked at Isaac and Ruby. "Well, I kinda exploded and then a girl yelled at me..." Ruby said as she looked down at the ground. Weiss walked up behind Yang and Ruby, and Yang looked at the look she gave Ruby, "Oh my god you actually exploded..." After this, Professor Ozpin walked up on the stage and started giving his speech. Everyone was silent as the well respected man spoke. After the speech, Ozpin called Isaac into his office, requesting that he come alone.

"So, Mr. Wolfblood, do you know why I moved you up to my school early?" Ozpin said while sitting in his chair, looking at Isaac. "Um, no actually, but it's an honor to be here at your school Professor." Isaac said with respect. "Well Isaac, you're quite special you see. And you also have potential to be a master huntsman as well, so I wanted to give you a chance." Ozpin explained. "With all do respect Professor, I don't see how I'm special." "Oh, you will Isaac. You will." Ozpin said with a smirk on his face.
