IMAGINE: Comforting after his breakup

     You open your front door and then gasp. "Y/N." Tom sobs, falling into your arms.

      "Tom, what's wrong? What are you doing here?" You ask, holding your friend in your arms.

      "Taylor and I broke up." He weeps into your shoulder. You close the door and pull in Tom into the house. You set him down on the couch and rub his back.

     "What's happened?" You ask.

      Tom sniffs and looks up at you. His eyes are bloodshot and puffy. "I-I had to break up with her. I didn't want to but she was too controlling." He cries.

      "I'm sorry, Tom. I know how much you liked her." You comment. Tom wipes the tears off his cheeks and takes in a staggering breath.

      "It's going to be okay, Tom. One day, you'll find a girl who will knock you off your feet. She'll make you realize why it didn't work out with Taylor." You say.

       "I know, I know." He chokes out. He heaves a sigh and you hug him tightly, rubbing his back.

     "Would you like some ice cream?" You say.

      "Could I?" He asks. You nod and smile a little bit, cupping Tom's face.

     "Of course." You reply.

     He smiles. "Thanks." He blubbers.

     "Anytime, Tom." You say.
