chapter eleven

TICCI TOBY' S P.O.V (didn't see that coming did ya ^^)

I'm finally better yay! So Slendy said that the time has come and we should explain everything to the girl who beat me up. I was hesitant to comply at first but Masky said he would help me go retrieve her.

So now we're in the woods heading to the proxy's school. It's broad daylight and I feel like a freak yep self consciousness hates me. I left my hatchets at the house because no one will let us see her if we have weapons it was Masky's idea. Man is he smart. 

As we neared the school we heard a girl's scream. "What was that?" I asked Masky looked like he rolled his eyes. "A scream idiot!" he snapped at me. Masky doesn't like me very which is why it was surprising when he said he would help me on my mission. 

Because there was a scream Masky started running to the school out of surprise I ran with him. We jumped into a tree landing on a branch. The branch we were on was in front of a window. Masky lunged to the window shattering it. 'Masky's acting strange stranger than usual' I thought following after my friend. we were in a hallway with not a person in sight. "Everyone must be in class" I said starting to walk. Masky and I walked down many hallways until we found a girl who was crying and sobbing hysterically. She had black hair but didn't look like the proxy girl. 

"She probably knows where Ash is" Masky suddenly said walking over to the girl. "W-who's Ash?" I asked confused. "The whole reason you and I are here!" Masky snapped for a reply. Masky was now kneeling next to the girl. They had a quiet conversation that I couldn't hear so I just waited.

after five minutes Masky came back to me and explained what the girl said to him. Apparently the proxy who's name is Ashley was in a washroom and had attacked her friends but before Ashley could hurt the black haired girl who's name is Emily, Emily ran out screaming. Masky clenched his fists as he told me this. 

We walked to where that Emily girl said was the washroom with the proxy. after a few twists and turns we made it to the room inside I heard a voice saying "WAKE UP!". I guess Masky knew the voice because he rushed in. I needed to complete my mission so I rushed in as well only to see something really strange.

there was a girl with flowing midnight blue hair with white specks. She wore tattered blood splattered clothes on with a knife sticking out of her boot. The girl was shaking a exact same girl except her hair was brown and wore normal clothes. The brown haired girl looked like the proxy except she had black vanes growing from her neck where the mark was. Masky you finally made it! the girl with midnight hair said like the world wasn't gonna end.

 "I'm majorly confused" I said kicking a mirror shard. Oh right I'm Nightmare or at least that's what little Ashy calls me the midnight haired girl said with a smile. I heard Masky growl "don't call her that!" he said almost shouting they must've had a bad meeting. Nightmare giggled like she accomplished something.

but her expression turned serious and she looked back at the proxy. I don't know what's happening to her but I don't like it! she said looking at Masky who was now kneeling next to the proxy. "I'm just gonna stand here and let you do your thing" I said feeling left out.

Nightmare's P.O.V

Ever since Ash got that stupid mark I've had a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. A feeling like I was slowly fading away like Ash was losing her fear of me. AND I DON'T LIKE IT I'M NOT GONNA LEAVE EVER!

The ugly black vanes grew more but they traveled to her left eye and as soon as they did Ash gasped then her eyes shot open and she screamed. I watched as her weird mark slowly disappeared from her neck to her left eye. The eye changed from yellow to pure white with the mark pure black. That must be painful I said as her screams filled the room. 

I screamed as well when I had a feeling that my eye was burning and my neck was being ripped apart. What's happening to me!? I screamed as I tried to claw out my left eye wondering if the pain would stop then. I felt tears in my right eye but not in my left. I looked at Ashley and saw the same thing happening to her. 

I felt hatred for her because she was doing this to me and I hated it. MAKE IT STOP! I yelled at her. Eventually the pain became to numb but I saw so many things, things that made me laugh and things that made me feel funny on the inside. 'Does Ash see this as well?' I thought falling on my back. I became tired very tired, my eyelids became heavy as the pain in my left eye slowly left. I fell asleep laughing at the things that flooded my head.
