Ashley's P.O.V

I need her gone! If she's gone then I would be safe and I won't have to deal with the nightmares anymore.

Masky was watching me and her fight even though it wasn't much of one. 'He probably thinks I'm crazy' I thought looking down avoiding eye contact. "Leave now Nightmare" I said softly but deadly. (I have not thought of a proper name for her so let's go with Nightmare). "Why should I listen to you little Ashy?" she teased.

I started laughing at her comment. I laughed like a psycho but it was like I couldn't control my body. "You too Masky go" I said still laughing but really I was trying to warn him. Because I felt funny like I was going to hurt him and I just wanted Nightmare gone.

"No I want to help" Masky protested. 'You don't understand I will hurt you I don't want to' I thought looking at him still laughing with a huge grin but my eyes were pleading. "Please...." was all I said before he realized what was going on.

Masky walked away and I saw Nightmare dissolve into mist. 'Coward' I thought. I couldn't stop laughing. My body was not in my control. My knees buckled under pressure and I laid on the cold floor laughing. I wasn't saying anything just laughing. 'What am I laughing about what's so funny?' I thought.

After a couple of minutes of just maniac laughter my body finally came back into my control. I sat up and looked around. 'I want to go home' I thought exiting the hallway I was in.

After a few twists and turns I made my way to the front door. I looked behind me for the last time. 'Goodbye' I thought leaving the manor. 'Goodbye Masky' I thought starting to run. I ran through the woods all the way back to my house. I remembered the way from earlier. I felt hot tears sting my eyes. 'Why am I crying?' I thought confused as I wiped them away.

Once I got to my house I was really out of breath. I walked through my front door that was opened which was strange for my dad. "Dad?" I called out no answer. I closed the door behind me. "Just one normal day tomorrow please" I said crossing my fingers.

I headed to my dad's room to find a note by his door. "Dear Ash I went on a date with a friend be home really late I might even sleep at her house
Love dad" I read out loud.

I crumbled up the paper and threw it on the floor. "I'm so tired I don't even care" I said walking to my room. I fell on my bed and fell asleep as soon as I hit my pillow.

I woke up and it was Sunday. I didn't have any weird dreams last night so that was nice. I rolled out of my bed landing on my carpet. "Why am I awake this early?" I asked no one. I looked at the time it was noon. "Maybe it's not so early" I sighed.

"Dad!? ARE YOU HOME?!" I yelled. "YEAH!" I heard him yell back. I stood up and stretched. "I'm just gonna play videogames today" I said not even thinking about my friends. I changed into some comfortable clothes and started up my game console which was a N64 but I only had one game Mario Kart.

I didn't even bother eating breakfast I just wanted to be alone.

Masky's P.O.V

Ever since Ashley told me to go I have been feeling funny on the inside. Even when I'm with Hoodie I feel sad or empty.

"H-hey M-Masky w-what's w-wrong?" Hoodie suddenly asked we were eating cheesecake again because it's awesome. "I-it's nothing" I quickly answered. He tilted his head not convinced. I laughed "I swear it's nothing okay?" I said more convincingly.

Hoodie's P.O.V

I'm worried about Masky he's not himself lately. But he won't tell me and I don't like it not at all. 'I thought you trusted me Masky' I thought looking at him.

"I'm gonna go out" Masky said cleaning up he sounded tired. "O-okay!" I said happily I wanted to be in a happy mood to help cheer up Masky.

"I-I'm g-gonna g-go o-out t-to" I said excitedly. 'Maybe Ashley can help me' I thought.

'Why does she have to have a second floor room jeez' I thought huffing. I finally made it to her window I saw she was playing videogames. I knocked on her window and Ashley looked at me with a smile then stood up.

She approached the window. I expected her to open the window but instead she locked it. I frowned confused. I knocked again and Ashley rolled her eyes. Then she opened the window but not enough for me to enter. "What do you want!" Ashley snapped at me. She was acting odd definitely different from yesterday.
