I don't want to wake up. My alarm buzzed annoyingly and I groaned louder than necessary, shaking myself from my dreams. In this one, my mate came to rescue me from this hell and carried me off to a secluded pack in a beautiful forest with a water fall where we ended up getting married.

I groaned again and hopped down onto the cold, hard wood floor, slapping my hand down on the alarm before quickly slipping into a old pair of green slippers. I was still amazed I had them - they were worn down from such long use.

I waltzed towards my locked, closed door, grabbing the key to it off the bedside table. I didn't trust keeping it unlocked - knowing my roommates, they'd probably make it a game to prank me or trash my things. I have no trust in them, obviously. I made my way downstairs and into the pack houses kitchen in a sleepy daze. I yawned and stretched, wishing to be back in bed thinking about my beloved mate who I hoped but knew didn't actually exist. If anything, my mate would reject me as soon as he knew who I was. I grumbled at the thought.

'If you don't like it, maybe you shouldn't think about it.' My wolf voiced her opinion in my head, and I rolled my eyes as I pulled out pans and pots to make everyone at the pack house breakfast. 'Just a few more years,' I thought to myself, as I set all my materials on the counter.

The whole pack doesn't live here; just the Alphas son, a handful of other pack members my age, three dogs, a cat, and the girls the Alpha and the other boys manage to pull for a night of fun. And, of course, me. Because I don't have any other place to go.

The Alphas son only lives here because he wanted to be away from his parents, a choice I hated him for. Here I was, dying to have parents like his, and he didnt want anything to do with them. He's a spoiled, Alpha brat, if you ask me.

I poured some of the pancake batter on to the pan, and then eggs into another. I lazily walked to the coffee pots while rubbing my eyes, and started to press the buttons. Last night I had remembered to get them ready so I didnt have to do it when I woke up. We had multiple coffee makers because we went through coffee like water. Next to the coffee makers was a loaf of bread and a toaster, and I started to drop bread in it before starting it up.

I slid over to the oven in my slippers, my hip bumping into the huge machine with a light thump and a rattle. The eggs and pancake looked unbothered by the disturbance as I flipped one and stabbed a spatula in the other. I then went over to the black, expensive looking radio that usually was on some pop station and switched it to my favorite one.

A nice, smooth song came through and was still on the beginning, making me smile. It was incredibly girly and slow dancey, but it was 1000 times better than what the rest of the pack listened to. I spun in the middle of the kitchen and grabbed a plate from the cabinet, setting it next to the oven and laying the now finished, beautiful pancake on it. I started a new one then took the scrambled eggs out of its pan and putting in more. I checked my watch, huffing as I noticed it was 4:47AM and that I had to spend another two hours here before I could leave to school.

I went over to the coffee, pouring some into a mug and adding sugar and milk before taking a satisfying sip. I sighed and reluctantly set it down before returning to the stove.

An hour later and breakfast was finished, and it was now 6:00AM. I had enough time to eat and get ready, before I could leave early and get to school on time. I had to walk to the other side of town to get there, and every now and again I miss my first hour. Thank the lord it's just P.E, you only needed to be healthy to pass it in my school.
