The wind raced and spun as the small girl sprinted away from the burning house, her mother's wand clutched against her chest. Fear kept her going, she knew she had to get away but couldn't figure out much more. She stumbled into the town square and looked around, men apparated around her, blocking all exits.

"Get away!" She said, her voice small and high.

The men slowly began to move inwards.

"Get away!" She said again holding out the wand like a muggle might hold out a knife.

A man made a grab for her and she screamed, a blinding green light shooting from the wand's tip. The man slumped to the ground, and the others soon followed. The girl looked around her, frightened, before sprinting away. She hid between two houses, the snow soaking her clothes and the wand still clutched in her fingers.

She woke up again, it had been months since that had happened but it still haunted her. Rumour had spread throughout the wizarding community of a mass murderer, but it was her. The frightened little girl who didn't know what she was doing. She ran from town to town, death following in her wake. And, as she lay in a barn, she knew that it'd all just happen again. Tears fell on the hay and she tried to stop them, crying couldn't bring her mother and father back.

A loud sound took her out of her memories and she scrambled out the door, not caring if it had been a threat or not. The wand held at the ready in her small child hands. A man rounded a corner and a green light shot from the wand, killing him instantly. She ran. Her small legs now used to the movement. She sprinted towards a forest and hid in the trees, waiting for the people to start searching for the killer, this would be her cue to leave.

Instead, a man in a mask with a black cloak walked through the snow towards her. She pointed her wand at him, ready if he drew his.

"We have heard of you." The man said, "You are powerful for someone so young. Come with me."

She stepped out of the trees, "No, get away."

The man held up his hands, "Don't worry..."

She didn't mean to but another green light shot from the wand. The man took his wand out and blocked the spell.

"How did you do that?" She demanded.

The man aimed his wand at her, "I'll explain later." And a spell hit her in the chest.
