Helena did not want to go to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She did not want to sit in a compartment with Draco Malfoy. She did not want to have to look at Potter. And she definitely did not want to babysit Draco. And yet there she was on platform 9 3/4 about to embark on a journey to Hogwarts with Draco by her side and Potter in her eye line. The stupid boy looked pale, sweaty, and slightly idiotic. He was the perfect target, she wanted to hit him with a curse right there and be done with it.

"Helena..." Draco glared at her, "Don't even think about going near Potter. In fact, you should consider Bellatrix's suggestion."

Helena hated Bellatrix's suggestion, and she'd had a very loud fight with her for voicing the idea, "No."

Draco pulled his trunk onto the train, "I'd rather befriend Potter than kill someone."

And that's the other thing she did not want to befriend Harry Potter, "And I'd rather kill every living thing under Hogwarts' roof than try and befriend that little, idiotic, mudblood loving, scumbag."

"Sh..." Draco looked around, "Don't raise your voice too loud, half the kids here would beat you up for saying that."

Helena laughed, "I'd like to see them try."

Draco stepped onto the train, "Come on."

Helena screwed up her face but followed him, "You know, we could always swap jobs and you could avoid the kill."

Draco glanced at her, "The Dark Lord would murder us if he found out."

"I'll let you take credit," Helena begged, "I can't do it, Draco."

Draco turned to her, "Look," He hissed, "You've been given a job and you have to do it, and in order to do so, you can't be seen with me. So, go sit in a compartment, put on a smile, and don't say anything you normally would."

Helena blinked, "Wow," She smirked, "You're mildly attractive when you're confident." She opened a compartment door and sat inside, waiting for the trio to enter the train.

Draco blinked and faced the open door, "What did you just-?"

"Draco," Hermione was suddenly beside him, "why don't you go bother someone from your own house?"

Draco looked from her to Helena, "Fine."

Hermione sat down, "Sorry about him, he's a total jerk."

Harry and Ron followed her inside, deep in conversation. Helena managed to refrain from cursing their faces off, "Thanks," She took at deep breath and tried to look as weak and useless as possible, "He's been bothering me all day."

Ron screwed up his face, "I'd love to just -"

"Ronald!" Hermione glared at him.

"What? I wasn't going to say anything inappropriate." Ron rolled his eyes.

"We all hate Draco here," Harry smiled, "I'm Harry, what's your name?"

"Helena," She forced a smile on her face, "What are your names?" She looked between Ron and Hermione, trying to remove the distaste from her face.

"I'm Ron." He got out a stack of cards.

"And I'm Hermione." She stuck out her hand, "It's very nice to meet you Helena!"

She didn't want to touch the mudblood's hand, she'd rather die but she forced her smile wider and hesitantly shook her hand, "The pleasure's all mine."

Hermione smiled at her warmly which just made Helena's insides boil with hatred, "I assume you're the new student?"

Helena nodded, "I was home schooled," She whispered.

"I find it so fascinating, although I wonder if you will be at the same level as us or possibly higher." Hermione began to talk really fast about things Helena found so boring.

She began to daydream about kidnapping the trio and cursing them, torturing them, even getting her hands dirty. She imagined running a blade across Hermione's cheek and punching Ron's stupid face. And Harry... she had special ideas for the boy who lived. Blood, torture, everything she had in her large vocabulary of awful things to do to a person and ending it all with death. It would be beautiful, gorgeous. She found herself contently smiling as Hermione babbled at the other two reopened their intense discussion about Quiddtich. Perhaps, if she could continue like this the train ride wouldn't be so bad. Unfortunately, life had other plans and Helena would have to endure more of this personal hell.
