Our fingers stayed tangled as I pushed myself into the door of a small cafe not too far away.
"Take a seat, I'll get some drinks. Hot chocolate?" I asked letting go of her hand and pointing to the nicest looking empty seats by the window.
"I love hot chocolate" She replied, walking away.

I sat down opposite her, placing the hot chocolate in front of her and taking a sip from mine.
"Thank you" Asheley said turning to look out at the window, I stayed watching her.
She really was beautiful.
A waitress came and I ordered some cheese toasties for us both.
They were nice and warm so me and Asheley decided to walk to somewhere dry to stay for the night, holding the toasties.
I juggled my backpack, my hot chocolate cup and the toastie while opening the cafe door and stepping out into the dark, cold air.
We both started eating our toasties once we'd chucked our cups in a bin. I stopped every-so-often to breath and think about what road to take. There were so many roads and alleys. The lights that were still up from christmas calmed me though, reminded me why I was here.
I got to the edge of a curb, planning to find the map in my bag once getting to the alleyway across the road.
Asheley look my hand and I realised I'd been standing on the curb for a while not moving, not moving at all.
My mind had taken over again, it was the cars rushing past...the ease of dying right now was unquestionable. Just taking one small step onto the road that was laid in front of me could end everything.
Asheley's hand pulled me out of the trace that had stolen me though, but I couldn't help feeling the loss of love I felt.
Asheley was gorgeous, another gorgeous girl I felt nothing for.
A car stopped by us and flashed it's bright lights letting us cross.
The alleyway was quite warm and less wet then outside. I smiled at Asheley, looking into her glistening dark eyes trying to feel something for her but nothing.
Next thing I knew our lips were pressed together and her fingers were twirled around some locks of my hair. I had to hold her hips and everything felt very strange. I tensed up and she let my lips go.
I leant my forehead onto the top of her head and caught my breath-
"Asheley, I'm gay"
