Flynn's P.O.V
I felt dazed, my body was frozen and I couldn't move at all. What was going on..
Is this how my amazing tale ends?
I heard the calls of my brother and that boy I was supposed to help.
"Flynn!!!"
and then my vision went black.
Is it all over for me?
Just when all hopes were lost, a dim light shone in the darkness.
"What is that?" I thought, walking towards the light.
"Human. State your name." a deep voice boomed throughout the room, my heart thumped rapidly.
Swallowing my fear, I spoke confidently "Flynn Gilbert!" I said, my voice echoing throughout the room.
"Flynn Gilbert, your test for salvation begins." it responded, then faded into nothing.
"Test..?" I muttered, but received no reply.
My surroundings then went sky blue, golden flames circled around me quickly.
It was like a huge arena in the sky.
"One rule. Win." the voice then sounded, large blocky letters then appeared in the sky.
3!
2!
1!
Fight!
A warrior warped in, he was covered in a bright shimmering light.
He had blond hair and a forest-colored suit. "Wah! It's that guy from the cover!" I exclaimed, clasping my hands together in pleasure.
But.. Something was off..
His face was expressionless and he didn't have any vibe of good in him.
He unsheathed his sword and ran full speed at me, slashing me at all directions. I dodged every slash just barely and he didn't seem to get tired at all.
Who was this guy? Why were we even fighting?
He slashed at me again, just grazing my shoulder. Blood seemed to drop down my arm as I winced in pain.
Fear overtook me, I was terrified of this monster that once was filled with a pure justice no one could possess.
"H-h.." he tried to manage, quivering a bit.
"Help.. m-me.." he then said through gasps.
His eyes went emotionless again, then he pointed his sword at me.
"You're dead, human." he said in a complete different attitude.
He needed help?
I-I'm going to help him!
He came at me with a devastating blow, his bloodied sword pointed directly at me.
I gulped, but was ready.
Good always wins, right?
I dodged to the side, his sword just grazing the tips of my hair. Grabbing his wrist and twisted it around to point at his neck. Woah, who knew I could be this strong. He looked at me with a smirk. "Come on, kill me. Finish this!" he demanded, as I stood my ground.
Swallowing, I spoke clearly "I know the good side of you is in there! Come out!" I said with a hopeful tone.
"Heh, his feelings are all locked up in a box and stuffed away." he smirked, then winced with pain.
"N-no way." he managed before his eyes turned a beautiful sky blue and his skin seemed to animate. Gasping, the warrior fell on his knees, his eyes widened. "T-thank you, Flynn." he said, smiling slightly as he went back to gasping.
Blocky letters appeared in the sky, they read; Link, Hero of Hyrule unlocked! Core of Bravery earned!
My wrist felt tingly as a golden-colored wristband appeared on my wrist.
"That's the bravery core. Good job, Flynn! I have so much to tell you, so once you wake up you've got to summon me, okay?" he asked, then went back to a bright smile.
"How do I sum--" I tried to ask, but my vision began to get brighter.
I heard a brief "You'll figure it out!" and then all went white.
I felt someone shout in my ear, his ear was against my chest; probably listening for a heartbeat.
Opening my eyes slightly, I could see lush green grass and a hysteric-looking brother at my side. My eyes widened as I sat up, my head colliding with his. "Ow!" I shouted, rubbing my forehead.
The gold wristband on my wrist shone brightly in the sun.
"That dream was real?!" I blurted out, glancing at Ness silently sleeping against a wooden tree and Brendan knocked out on the ground... oh right.
Sorry Brendan.
"Where are we?" I mumbled, looking up into the sky. The sky was a bright blue and we were surrounded by many healthy oaks.
Ganondorf's P.O.V
I slammed my fists on the table, those kids had made off with my prized possession. If they played that game, all my hard work of sealing all the video game heroes inside that CD would all be to waste!
I'd have to call my allies.
Picking up a dial-phone, I called Bowser, Dark Link, Pitoo, and King Dedede.
Bowser: Bwahaha! What do you want Ganondorf?
Dark Link: Be quick about it.
Pitoo: ...
King Dedede: Whatever it is, food will be my reward! Heeeheeeheee!
I coughed a bit, then spoke up.
"Two kids have stolen the game containing all the heroes from SSBB."
Bowser: Bwaaaah?! They did what?!
Dark Link: Ooh. Interesting.
Pitoo: You're very careless, Ganon.
King Dedede: And they didn't go for the food!
All four of them spoke so fast, it was hard for me to keep track of what they were saying.
"Anyways, we need to go into the game and stop them." I said, over their chattering.
Dark Link: Human's can't survive in the game world, Ganon.
"Well that rule must be fake, because both of them were added to the list, they haven't died yet."
Pitoo: Damn, we'll be right over.
And the whole group hung up.
Minutes later; after closing time all four villains stepped inside, the game room was now a huge laboratory with screens and high-tech inventions.
"Been a long time, Ganon." Pitoo greeted, his pitch-black wings gleamed off the led lights.
Dark Link smirked, "Ah, I'm just itching for a good fight." he said, fiddling with one of the portals I made recently for game-jumping; also how I rounded up all the heroes into one game world.
"Portals set up and ready to go." I muttered as one of the portals fired up.
"Bwahaha! Those kids are toast!" Bowser laughed, his voice booming.
I sighed. "Let's go."
And we all stepped through the swirling blue portal.
