Flynn's P.O.V

I opened my eyes to see a pale white ceiling. The room was filled with sunlight shining in from the window, the curtains were scrunched up and shoved to the side. I glanced to my right and saw stacks of bandages and medicine. Yawning loudly, I heard a high pitched voice, "Oh, you're awake!" he shouted. Weakly, I looked for the owner of the voice to see a boy with messy brown hair, with a hair clip pinning his bangs together. He wore a white tunic and had a feathered angel wings hanging from his back.

I almost mistook him for Dark Pit, but realized the colors were nearly opposites. He looked identical to Dark Pit, "Are you like... just Pit?" I asked curiously. The angel tilted his head to the side, then grinned, "I'm not 'Just Pit' silly! I'm Pit! But, nice to meet you!" the boy said playfully, bowing his head towards me.

He seemed really cheerful and nice, so I gave him a light smile, "Name's Flynn..." I was going to get up to shake his hand, but a sharp pain shot up my side.
Pit looked worried, as he propped me up against a pillow, "Be careful, you were shot with a poisonous arrow, try not to make the poison spread even more..." the angel explained, faltering near the end.

I then remembered what happened, Brendan and I were going to go home, but then I was shot from out of nowhere. "Where's Brendan?" I asked worriedly. Pit looked away, "He went to find the antidote. Dark Link seems to have it." Pit answered, looking at Flynn with big sympathetic eyes.
"But, I'm sure he will return..!" Pit assured him.

Honestly, I didn't like this "Dark Link" person. He's been making my brother change for the worse. Why would Brendan even think killing is okay?! This is all Link's dark sides fault. I clenched my fists when the angel spoke up, "You have a scary face, Flynn." Pit whispered quietly. I noticed I was worrying Pit, then looked up at him and nodded, "He will return, of course!" I shouted, faking a smile. I sure hope Brendan doesn't become mean and evil. Dark Link... could corrupt him...

I scolded myself in my head, "Stupid! Have some faith in your own brother!" I thought, shaking my head back and forth. I have to be more faithful!

"Still... Be safe, bro." I mumbled, clenching the blankets tightly in my fist.

Brendan's P.O.V

The horse trotted down the dirt pathway, the grasses were tall and damp. The woods were poorly lit, because the trees were so leafy and large. To be honest I didn't know where the heck to even start looking for Dark Link. I only had three days to find him, and when I do, I'll beat the living crap out of him.

I pushed deeper into the woods, looking for some kind of hint that someone could've passed through. That's when the brown-haired horse halted in it's tracks. It stopped before a dark opening, it lead deeper into the forest. I nudged the horses side, urging him to go on. Although the animal refused to take another step deeper.
Sighing, I hopped off the horse and slapped it in the direction back to where we came from. I watched the horses cantering figure disappear into the mist of the forest.

"Good, I thought he would never leave." a voice boomed from behind me. I turned around, quickly unsheathing my blade. My sword burst into hot amber flames. I expected to see Dark's cocky face, but I saw a mutated turtle with large pointed spikes bulging from it's shell. I recognized him, the opponent Flynn easily defeated from before. Bowser... was it?

"Bwahahaha! Dark Link promised me all the princesses I could dream of! I just have to defeat you!" Bowser shouted, his body shaking as fire escaped from his huge mouth. I can't believe how easily bribed this stupid turtle could be. Dark Link doesn't even have a princess! I braced myself as he blasted me with fire, I could feel my sword absorb the flames.
Smirking, I glared at him, "Too bad, huh. Looks like you're not getting a single princess then."
