The Mysterious Boy's POV
A/N: Sooo, Mysterious Boy is someone that Sophie knows, just not saying the name, 'cause that would spoil a LOT.
Excitement pulsed through my veins. Tonight was the night I would finally meet Sophie under the Cover of Darkness Tam had provided me. I could imagine everything.
Sophie's POV
"I will kill the Neverseen!" I howled.
Alden spoke up, in his crisp accent. "Sophie? What are you two talking about? In English!" he thundered, thinking we were up to no good.
"I- The Neverseen took away my abilities. The Polygot abilities to be exact. I don't understand the Enlightened Language anymore."
Fitz and Alden conversed in quick, short bursts. "I hate this!" I moaned, burying my face into my pillow.
"Sorry," Fitz apologized. "We were just talking about how I should tell Keefe, Biana, Dex, Tam, and Linh." I groaned. Fitz picked up his Imparter. "Hail Keefe, Dex, Tam, and Linh." Biana's muffled voice came through the walls. "I heard everything! I learned some English secretly after listening to too many stinking annoyingly coded conversations."
Keefe and the others picked up. They talked and I grumpily huffed as Biana joined in. Alden turned away after saying, "Sophie, I'm going to tell Mr. Forkle." And with that, he left with a swish of his cloak.
