A/N: I AM SOOOOOO SORRY. I haven't checked on for sooooo long. I'm trying to write an original book, so I don't pay much attention to Wattpad anymore. Once again, I'm sooooo sorry. Um... and that's it?

Once Sophie managed to get her gag off silently, she pried off her bonds with her teeth and freed her hands. The Neverseen had left her in a cold something. She couldn't hear any guards. Suspicious. Or maybe Mr. Forkle had created a distraction. She took off the wet, warm, and damp blindfold.

Nothing. But a sickening sense crawled up from Sophie's stomach and clawed mercilessly at her throat as she remembered Fitz, Keefe, Dex, and . . . Amy. How did she even see Sophie? Oh, yeah. The Obscurer, she thought blandly, and rather lamely. She could fit through the cell bars. Hopefully. The Neverseen's ego had increased, making them so proud of the human ways to hold someone, that they didn't care about the length between the bars.
She slipped through them with some effort and flinched, biting her lip. She didn't even know where her friend's cells were. There was only enough light for Sophie to make out figures and shapes. She tiptoed her best as she slipped through the bars of the cell next to hers. A moaning could be heard. She took off the person's bonds, blindfold, and gag. "Thank you," the person croaked heavily. Even though Sophie had no idea who this was, she grabbed the person's hand and slipped through the cold metal bars once again. Maybe there was going to be better light as soon as they got outside.
She went to every cell and freeing the person, assuring herself that the Neverseen's enemies were her friends.
Or were they?

Sophie heaved her shoulder against the stubborn metal door. The once-captive prisoners helped her. Finally, with one last push, the door couldn't stand it anymore and gave way. They fell onto sweet-smelling flowers and vibrant green grass. Soft rays of sunlight twirled their way through the cracks the leaves left. It would look so peaceful, except for the fact that the building behind them was the Neverseen's hideout.
Sophie looked behind her. Groaning, her friends stood up. Sophie quickly did too. She tried not to notice the features of their scarred bodies, and she whispered, "Go free."

They shook their heads. "We are part of the Black Swan and it's an honor to meet the Project Moonlark," a teenage boy spoke up. "My name is Hars."

Sophie was flustered. She waved a hand and snorted. "Just call me Sophie."

Hars knelt down. "Behold, the Project-- er, I mean Sophie," he announced in a dramatic voice. Keefe was fuming.

"DRAMATICS IS MY-" he shouted.

"Oh, and the famous Keefe Sencen! This is my lucky day! I've always been a HUGE fan of your pranks." Hars grinned. "Especially the Great Gulon Incident."

Sophie sighed. She knew nobody would ever tell her what had happened.

Keefe almost fainted. "Ohmygoshafan!!"

Sophie winced. She hoped Hars wasn't really a prankster. Sophie fished out her home crystal. She held it up to the light and let it whisk them away.
|Break?|
"He can not stay here!" Grady raised a shaking finger and pointed at Hars. Sophie rolled her eyes. Grady started being a little overprotective, even after 'That Boy' had come back to their side.

"Relax Grady," Edaline soothed, though she did shoot Sophie a worried glance.

Grady performed an adult version of a pout and crossed his arms. Hars eyed Grady warily and edged away. Sophie widened her eyes and stepped in before Hars saw anybody as a threat or danger. The Black Swan had tried to make Hars as comfortable as possible so no big disruptions would occur. Since Hars was almost as old as Fitz and Keefe, he re-started Foxfire at their level.
He and Keefe hit it off, and Keefe managed to convince Magnate Leo to assign them the same classes. But Fitz stayed suspicious of Hars, narrowing his eyes every time he saw him laugh at one of Keefe's jokes. Sophie knew that it was kinda weird, but not like an evil laugh that you could expect from a villain. No lunatic or mad scientist laugh. No witch cackle. Just a regular, but deep, rumble. What does Fitz see that I don't?
Keefe's POV
Hars is my very favorite best friend I've ever had. Not counting Fitz. Geez, can't that dude just chill? He probably has a permanent glare on his face from all of it that he directed at Hars. Yeah, so, Keefe Sencen signing out.

A/N: Okay, I think I've been stalling this for too long. Um... is that long enough? It's only roughly around 770 words. So... bye?
