"You look beautiful" Simon smiled, walking over to me and hugging me from behind.
"Thanks" I smiled blankly.
A few days had passed since the 'incident', yet it was all still fresh in my mind.
Josh had been ignoring Simon, only talking to me if I looked worried.
He was acting distant from everyone.
Simon was acting different, he was being extremely nice to me, which felt fake.
He wouldn't get annoyed with me, he would overcompensate.
"Well I think the car is here," he said checking out of his window.
We were all going out for a meal, despite the conflict.
I grabbed my heals and walked downstairs with Simon behind me.
I wore a tight black co-ord, with black heels.
"Josh!" Simon smiled, just as he was opening the front door.
I cringed at his tone.
Josh lifted an eyebrow and waited for him to speak.
"Will you take a photo of me and Ava?"
My heart sank in my chest, Simon was using me to make Josh feel bad.
"Simon the cars here, just take one later or something," I muttered, trying to avoid arguments.
"Why not now, babe?" Simon smiled.
I shook my head at him, walking out to the car and getting in.

We arrived at the restaurant.
I had little choice in where I was to sit; next to Simon.
Everyone else seemed to be having conversations around the table, but I sat in silence.
Josh would occasionally glance over at me, but Simon would immediately hold my hand or something stupid.
"Simon, stop" I muttered, not wanting to cause I scene.
He ignored me and placed his hand on my thigh, making me uncomfortable.
I shifted in my seat trying to make my feelings clear, but he just gripped me tighter.
"Simon, she said stop" Tobi said across the table.
As soon as Tobi said that Josh turned his head, the others to busy in their conversations.
"It doesn't concern you two, she's fine" Simon smiled, making the guilt in my stomach rise.
"Simon, just let go" I whispered, placing my head down and shutting my eyes.
I then heard Josh, beginning to raise his voice at Simon.
Everything around me began to be a blur, my hearing was becoming distant.
"Ava stop" I whispered to myself, not wanting this to happen.
I hadn't had a panic attack since I was young, I thought I had things under control.
The pressures from everyone became my focus, hearing Simon's chair push against the hard wood floor as he stood up, I began to shake.
