Little Bird: A Cody Simpson Love Story

Chapter Seven

I looked into Cody’s gorgeous eyes, thinking this could be it, is he going to ask me to be his girlfriend, I hesitantly answered him “yeah, anything…” I said to him. Cody move my arm from his chest and sat up, I did the same, looking at him now just confused.  He looked over to me and smiled.

“I have had a lot of fun so far today; spending time with you makes me feel like a normal kid again. You don’t act like I’m some celebrity when we’re together. I can’t help but smile and laugh when I’m with you.. Well I guess what I am trying to say is….” Cody said, making me very nervous to hear what he was about to say..

Cody looked into my blue eyes, smiled and grabbed my hand.

“Macy, will you be my girlfriend?” He said nervously. I couldn’t believe what I had just heard. Instantly a smile came over my face, I nervously looked down into my lap and tucked my hair behind my ear. I looked up at Cody, him still staring at me waiting for an answer. I gave him a big smile and said “yes!” I quickly wrapped my arms around him giving him the biggest hug ever.  I let go and looked into his eyes for a few seconds, him looking into mine as well. I smiled to him and began to kiss him again. Cody laid back on the dock and I laid on top of him. He was running his hands up and down my back as I was kissing his neck and along his ear. Cody then put his hand underneath my tank top and was softly scratching my back. He then rolled me over and was looking down at me.

“I don’t know what it is but something about you just makes my heart melt.” he said. He then looked at the scrape on my arm I got from the incident at the meet and greet,

“Weird how all this happened because of that little scrape.” He said. We both began to laugh, then we got up Cody wrapped his arm around me and we headed back towards the house.

“I can’t wait to get these wet clothes off...” I said.

“Ditto.” Said Cody.

“I hope you don’t mind borrowing Jase’s underwear now too…” I said laughing.

“Oh god, I didn’t think of that.” Cody said.

“What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.” I told Cody.

“But I’ll know!” Cody said. We both laughed and walked into the house. My mom was in the kitchen making dinner.

“Have to use the restroom.” Cody said.

“Okay, honey. I’ll be out here.” I told him. I walked into the kitchen to tell my mom the good news.

“You’re filthy! And soaking wet! What in the world did you two do!?” She asked while stirring a pot of noodles.

“We jumped in the pond, but that’s not important!” I told her.

“What do you mean it isn’t important? You’re dripping all over my wood floors..” She said angered.

“MOM! Listen to me, don’t worry about that, and guess what!” I said to her as I stepped over on the rug.

“What, honey?” she asked.

“Cody asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!” I told her excitedly. She stopped stirrings he noodles and looked over to me shocked by what I just said.

“Honey!! That’s great, but do you know it is going to be really hard dating a pop star, he will be away a lot.” She explained..

“I know, I know, it’ll be fine.” I then went upstairs to change my clothes. As I was putting on dry underwear I heard a knock at my door,

“Who is it?” I said

“It me, Cody….” Cody said quietly. Come in I said as I quickly ran into my walk in closet.
