I pulled down my gavel driveway, alone and missing Cody already. This is going to be the longest six weeks ever I thought to myself as I parked my truck and went inside the house.

“How’d it go?” Asked my dad from the other room as I closed the door behind me.

“Okay...” I replied as I sat my things down and walked upstairs. I got in the shower to get the pond smell off me, brushed my teeth, put my pajamas on and went to bed. I grabbed my phone to text Cody goodnight and just as I did I realized Cody’s shirt was still out laying in the barn, unless dad already found it. I got up from bed and ran out the back door. I went over to the barn, opened the door and turned on the barn lights. Sure enough, there was a black shirt lying in the middle of the ground covered in straw. I picked it up, shook the straw and dirt off it, turned the lights out and walked back up to the house. Clutching the shirt in my hands I could smell Cody’s cologne on it. I walked up to my room with it and laid it on the chair. I climbed in bed and heard my phone go off like I got a text message, I rolled over and grabbed my phone, it was from Cody. The text read,

“Goodnight love, we are just now are entering into Indiana from Ohio. I will see you soon. Talk to you in the morning :)”

I smiled, set my phone back on the nightstand and quickly fell back asleep, exhausted from today and the lack of sleep I had the night before.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my brother singing in the shower, my bedroom is right up against our bathroom. I tried to drown him out by covering my ears with my pillow but it wasn’t working, so I got out of bed. I walked downstairs and poured myself a glass of orange juice and made a bowl of captain crunch cereal. I texted Cody good morning and carried my breakfast into the living room to watch some TV. About an hour and two episodes into the Fresh Prince of Bell Air later, I got a picture message from Cody. It was of him lying in his bunk on his tour bus, his hair was a mess, he didn’t have a shirt on, and he was half awake, yet still looked as cute as ever. I sent him back a picture of me laying on the couch, my hair also a mess and my face smashed against a pillow. We text each other all that day. Mostly about how we missed each other and all that good stuff.

It’s been about two weeks since I have seen Cody, we keep in contact every day, we always Face Time each night after his show, or if he didn’t have a show that day, it would be around 8:00pm. We became very close. Even by just hearing his voice and seeing him on a little screen, it was nice. I was happy.

Today is a Tuesday and I have to help my day with cleaning the stalls, just like every Tuesday. I was putting on my boots and getting ready to go outside as I got a call from Cody.

“Hey Codes.” I said answering the phone.

“Hey Hun, you busy?” He asked.

“Kind of I’m about to go outside and help my dad with a few things.”

“Oh, well I have great news to tell you really quick.” He said excitedly.

“What is it babe?” I asked

“Matt just scheduled me to do a meet and greet in 2 days in Lexington Kentucky.” He said

“Are you serious!? That is only like 45 minutes from my house. Can I visit you during this.” I asked extremely excited.

“Yes! I’ll flying there the day before and i will be staying overnight in a hotel. I was wondering if you would like to meet up and we could get some food, and hang out at the hotel? You can also come to the meet and greet too, just hang out with Jeff while I sign some stuff and take photos with the fans” He explained.

“I will be there! Just text me the details when you find out.” I told him

“Great, I can’t wait...” He said.
