I walked over to a crying Pansy slightly aware of what's wrong. After Draco had told me he liked me a couple hours ago he assured he would break up with Pansy but I wasn't aware he would do it so quickly. Without a word I sat next to her and wrapped my arms around her in an awkward hug. She turned herself so she could hug me better then began to cry into my shoulder.

"Hey. What happened?" I asked.

"D-Draco broke up w-with m-me." She cried.

"She doesn't care." we both turned our heads to see Daphne standing in the doorway to the common room with her arms crossed.

"What?" Pansy cried confused.

"Yea, what are you talking about Greengrass?" I asked although I knew exactly what she was talking about.

I knew she had seen me and Draco earlier in the forest. Why she had been in the forest, I had no idea, I just knew she was there and saw us. And she was going to tell Pansy. In all honesty I wanted her to tell Pansy. I won't lie, I don't like Pansy. I just so happen to be a petty person that lets someone believe I like them while in reality I loathe them. (Honestly I do this real life. I wonder if people ever pick up on that.)

"I saw you two in the forest a couple hours ago." She said in a 'I've got you now' kind of tone.

"Yea? And? We were talking about a couple potions he couldn't get down, that's all." Lame excuse, I know, but whatever.

"I don't know of any potion that involves kissing." She said.

"Y-You kissed Dra-co?" Pansy hiccuped.

I sighed, not really wanting to deal with it. I thought about answering the question and just leaving to bed but I knew Pansy would just wake me back up. My mouth opened to answer when the wall parted to reveal Draco and Crabbe. Goyle had gotten sick somehow so he was in the hospital wing for a few days. They walked in then stopped when they noticed us staring at them. Draco simply smirked at me almost like he knew what was going on.

"You kissed her?! While we were still together?!" Pansy shouted, startling him.

"Yeah. What of it?" He shrugged. Thanks for ending this 'friendship' for me dude.

"Draco that may have been a bad idea." Crabbe remarked quietly.

"I thought you were my friend." Pansy shrieked at me.

"Yeah well," I stood up and shrugged my shoulders at her, "I never liked you. I'm a petty bitch who made you think I liked you because that's just the kind of person I am."

I walked over to Draco and wrapped my arm around his waist while he wrapped his around my shoulders. The three of us walked out of the common room and into the hallway of the dungeon. We decided to head to the Great Hall seeing as it was nearing dinner time.

We walked our happy little asses to get food through hallways full of other students. There was a lot of whispering about me and Draco considering not even but a few hours ago he was walking through the hall like this with Pansy. You know now that I think about it I do kinda feel bad. I just ruined two perfectly good potential friendships over a guy. Now the only friends I really have would be Crabbe and Goyle, possibly Blaise, and to completely honest, they're creepy. I really need to make friends. Maybe that Hermione chick would be a good friend but her best friend and my boyfriend are mortal enemies for some reason.

"Scarlett. I asked you a question." Draco said causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

"Sorry got lost in thought. What did you ask?" I smiled.

"I wanted to know if you would go to the Yule Ball with me." He said just loud enough for only me to hear it.

I pretended to think for a minute, even pulling a face that would normally mean no. "I would love to go to the Yule Ball with you." I whispered back, hearing him let out a breath.

"Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to talk to..." I looked around the Hall to see if anyone looked interesting enough to make friends with, "...her." I said pointing at a blonde Ravenclaw girl.

"Luna Lovegood? Really?"

"Cool name. I want new friends! Don't judge!"

He laughed as I walked away from him. I sat next to the blonde but she had yet to notice me. She was reading a big book, a charms book I believe, and it was obvious she was very into it. Maybe she had thought I was another Ravenclaw student that had sat next to her. I awkwardly cleared my throat to get her attention.

"Do you have a tickle? Water helps with ti- oh hello." She greeted as she looked up to see who I was.

"Hi. I'm Scarlett." I stuck my hand out for her to shake.

"Oh I know. Everybody knows who you are. I'm Luna. Luna Lovegood." She almost whispered as she grabbed my hand.

"I like your name. And your glasses are really cool." I compliment as I noticed the oddly shaped pink sunglasses sitting on her head.

"Oh thank you. I like your...cape." She laughed.

"Thank you." I chuckled.
