chapter 15

Once again I'm waking up next to Simon. But I do not feel good.
I feel something grow in my stomach and I run to the bathroom. Next thing I know, I'm throwing up. Why?

I feel someone hold my hair back and stroke my back as I throw up once again.
After about 5 minutes nothing happens. I guess it's over.
I flush the toilet and put my head in my hands.
"How you feeling?" He strokes my back.
"Like someone ripped out my stomach" I groan.

He picks me up bridal style and takes me back to bed.
I start to feel sick again, but thankfully Simon grabbed a bucket for me.

Once I've thrown up, Simon gets me some water.
"You're really hot" He checks my forehead.
"Thank you" I laugh.
"I'm being serious. Maybe we should go to A&E?" (Accident and emergency for people who don't live in England)
"I don't think it's that serious" I reassure him.

"You're frickin pale. Now let's get your ass to hospital or I'll pick you up and take you there myself" He threatens, which is kinda hot.

We get to the hospital and Simon helps me walk to the entrance.
We sign in and hopefully it won't take too long.
As we're waiting, Simon seems nervous.
"Are you okay?" I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Last time I was in a hospital was when my parents were killed".
Fucks sake. I'm so bad.
"I'm sorry. You can go home if you want"
His head shoots up.
"Hell no. I'm staying" He holds my hand and I rest my head on his shoulder.

Turns out I just have a tummy bug and a bit of a fever. They've given me some medicine for me to get better over the next couple of days. But I need rest. And lots of it.

We get back to Simon's room and I go straight to bed.

"Thanks for staying with me and looking after me" I close my eyes.
"No problem. But someone had to look after you" He kisses my cheek.
"Don't kiss me. I don't want you to catch the bug. It's terrible" I groan.
"I think I've been through worse" I hear the sarcasm in his voice.

I sleep for a few hours, waking up to Simon.
"You not going to class?" I rub my eyes.
"Hell no. This is another excuse for not going" He smiles.
"Also the girls did call your phone whilst you were sleeping. I told them what happened. They send their love" He passes me my phone. I check the groupchat.

Groupchat name: Sidecunts👑

Sam- get well soon Anna! We need you alive for the double date.....

Anna- double date?

Sam- Yeah! Me JJ, you and simon.  A double date.

Mia- can me and Ethan join in?

Serena- do me and Josh have a place?

Sam- sure! What day?

Anna- whenever I get my heath back pls.

Mia- oh yeah get well soon bae :)))

Anna- thank you Mia

Serena- no dying please.

Anna- wow thanks Serena :(

Serena- Hey I need my best friends :(

Sam- Simon is looking after you right?

Anna- yes he is ;)

Mia- aw that's goals right there. Odds on him catching Anna's bug?

Serena- I'm down :)

Sam- same :))))

Anna- Well if he does I can look after him :) but I gotta rest. So I'll see you guys in a few days or so?

Mia- take care Anna!

Serena- Love you Anna

Sam- We love youuuu

"So wanna go on a double date? Well technically it's a quadruple date. Me you, Sam, JJ, Ethan, Mia, Serena and Josh?"
I smile up at Simon.
"Er"
"What"
"Quadruple dates are not my thing"
"AW come on! It'll be fun!" I grab his arm.

He thinks for a bit.
"Fine! At least I can get to know some of your friends more" He kisses the top of my head.
"Yay! Thank you!" I lie back down.
"Now get some sleep please. You need to get better baby" He lies down next to me, and cuddles me.
"I will do Simon" I close my eyes.

Lying here with Simon, whether I'm ill or not, is amazing. It shows how much he cares about me.
