chapter 28

I wake up, feeling a tinge of happiness for some reason. And this is the first time since Simon that I'm feeling good.
Is Dylan already having an impact on me? Or am I just getting my hopes up?

I'm the first one up, so I make some breakfast, instead of waiting for the girls to wake up.

Once I've made my breakfast, I sit down, and then my phone goes off.

Dylan- good morning :)

Anna- oh hey there :)

Dylan- it's sad you're not in any of my classes, we could have met for the first time face to face :(

Anna- Awh no :( Er could we meet at lunch?

Dylan- Ah yes! See you there :)

I finish my breakfast and then wake the girls up. It's the second day back, but the first day of classes.
Odds on seeing Simon? I really doubt it.
Who knows. He's probably out getting drunk again. He's no longer my problem.

I get changed, and do my hair and makeup. Soon, we leave for class. History. Yay.

I get to my seat.
"I heard you spoke to Dylan yesterday" Mia says.
"Oh yeah, he's so nice. And so funny"
"He really wants to meet you face to face you know"
"Yeah and I wanna meet him, but is it too soon?" I worry.
"Of course not. Girl, to get over Simon, you have to get under someone"
"Mia!" I hit her.
"What! What did I say?" She rubs her arm.

Over the day, I don't see Simon. At all.

In business, I sat by myself.
It started raining. I looked at Simon's seat. The first time he sat by me. He annoyed me. He called me 'love'. And I'd love to hear him call me that one more time. He may have cheated, but my feelings are still there. They haven't gone away. And they never will..

Simon:

Empty. Depressed. Incomplete without Anna. Biggest mistake of my life was cheating. I didn't mean it.

I've been holed up in my room, avoiding any human contact. I'm not one to get 'feelings'. I just miss Anna so much.
JJ walks into my room without even knocking.

"You want something to eat?" He asks.
"No thanks" I shake my head.
"Look, I know you miss Anna, but you need to get over yourself. Shouldn't you be out there trying to get her back? Especially now she's nearly dating some other dude-"
"What?!" I shout.
"Shit! Erm nothing" He looks so guilty.
"What do you mean she's nearly dating some other dude?"
"His name is Dylan. Mia found him for her"
NAH fuck this.

I jump out of bed.
"Where are you going!" JJ shouts.
I stop and turn around.
"To get my girl back"

I run around campus, asking people of they've seen her and everyone said no. Probably because they don't like me or they're scared of me.
When I get to the canteen, I see Mia and Ethan. They will know where she is.

"Ethan. Mia. Have you seen Anna?" I pant out of breath from all the running.
"Er she went back to her room. Why?"
"I know you're lying Mia. She's with her boyfriend isn't she?" I snap.
"1. He's not her boyfriend. 2. Why do you care? You cheated on her" Mia snaps back.
"I still love her. I never stopped loving her!"
"But did you love her when you were having intercourse with another girl?" She raises her eyebrows.

I never thought of that.
"I was drunk. I didn't know what was happening" I defend myself.
"Well Anna got drunk that night you weren't here. Did she cheat on you when some guy hit on her? No she didn't. So there's clearly a difference between you two"
"Just please tell me where she is" I beg.
"She's with Dylan, in the courtyard. Go save your relationship. If you can"

I start running again, but this time to the courtyard.
When I get there, instantly my eyes fix on my girlfriend. But she's with this Dylan guy.
Look at him. With his brown hair and adorable smile that I know Anna will love. After all, she loves guys with adorable smiles. How do you think we got together?

She laughs. I've missed her laugh. But the way she stares at him, there is no feelings there. I remember the way she looked at me, everyday. You could see in her brown eyes, she cared for me. And she loved me with her whole existence. And I ruined it.

I slowly make my way towards them, interrupting their conversation.
Anna's eyes fix on me. She looks shocked. Shocked to see me?
"What do you want Simon?" She asks.
"Oh this is Simon?" Dylan asks, and Anna nods politely at him.

"Yeah I'm Simon. I'm her boyfriend, so you can leave now" I hiss at him.
"Simon!" Anna stands up.
"What are you doing? You aren't my boyfriend anymore. You lost that right when you fucked another girl" She shouts.
"And you have no idea how sorry I am about that" I move closer towards her, resulting in her moving away.
"Look, I'm gonna go-" Dylan stands up.
"No Dylan. I'm done here, let's go" She says sternly. She's leaving me for him?!
"I'm not giving up on you Anna!" I shout as she walks away with Dylan.

"Don't hold your breath"

Next update should be soon, and this book is definatly gonna be longer than 30 chapters okay? We still got a bit to go ;)
